Le French Twist

What a gem! Le French Twist is a beautiful salon with fantastic stylists. My main stylist and first choice is Bonnie, an amazing stylist that will make you feel and look amazing in no time at all, each and every time! Her positive energy is contagious! Excellent at cut, color, special occasion. Salon is beautiful, great music, positive energy. Go and get pampered! Totally reasonable prices as well!

I have been coming for years. Through their different locations and my moves, I have always found myself hitting the road to do my hair at the French Twist. Even though I now have to travel from South Bend, In., I make it a day trip adventure to get my hair done.
Getting a good hair cut and color is essential, but beyond their cutting expertise, the staff and owner are warm and friendly. A great value and a wonderful experience every time.

I have been seeing Milanka for about 10 years and she is amazing! I have medium to long brown curly hair and she has been highlighting it for years. The first day I met her she said that she knew exactly what would look best and I haven’t strayed since. I love the compliments I get on the color and I recommend her every time.

Donna has cut my hair a few times now and I love it! It’s hard to find a good stylist in the Chicago area, and amazing grace, how sweet the sound, I have found one! Donna takes her time and makes it her mission to cut, not corners, but to perfection. It’s nice to find a stylist, but to find a personable one at that — even better. She makes me feel comfortable and as if I’ve known her for years. When I got my first haircut from Donna my hair was a hot mess, with no style, and I told her to do whatever she feels is best and that’s exactly what she did. I left her studio with confidence greater than I normally have and I was ready to rock the weekend. The connection Donna has made with me as her client makes me want to cry with the flash of a thought if she ever left the Chicago area. I’ll keep coming back.

I tried achieving the blonde look that I was going for for a year with disastrous results. Bonnie was able to give me the results that I was looking for in less than 2 hours! She is great!
The salon is clean and everyone who works there is very friendly. The prices are reasonable and are listed on their website. Plenty of parking lot spaces available.

Milanka is absolutely fantastic. She gives a great hair cut and her highlights look so natural. She knows how to achieve a great look without bleach. So happy to have found her again after she left her last salon!
