I can never find anything I’m looking for when I walk into a Michael’s. I guess I just don’t have the capacity to navigate these particular stores. Sigh.
Anywho, the inventory was stocked to the max, but I was searching for something specific and couldn’t find it.
I definitely recommend Michael’s to the craft lover, but I much prefer Hobby Lobby. I only stopped here because I happened to be in the area.
I appreciate a good sale, so that’s another reason I prefer Hobby Lobby to Michael’s. Michael’s was just out of my budget today.

Watch out for the cashier Yvette. She cannot be bothered with customer service. I understand you don’t appreciate your hourly job, but quit acting like helping a customer with some coupons is SOOOO beneath you. It’s too bad this bad seed leaves a bad taste in my mouth about this place. I know there are better workers there that deserve a better coworker so their business doesn’t suffer! I heard the one in Glenview (not too far) is much better… hmmmm.

Walk in looking for customer service… non existent. First employee resistant to answer if they sold two items and 2 nd one was rude. long slow line to check out. Avoid this location. Store was down to last handful of bags to put customers purchase in!!. Hard to find helpful staff, rude& not as clean as other locations

Random. I rarely go to this store, but once in a blue moon you need something that no one else carries — in my case I needed a smaller-​than-​usual hole punch. They had it. They also send the 40−60% off coupons weekly. Used them to frame some important art as well. Staff is friendly.

This Michael’s really saved my butt yesterday! Had to stop in during my work hours to pick up little table top easels for a presentation I was preparing. The employee quickly directed me to the right area and there was a great selection. I picked out some clear easels that were not too expensive and was quickly rung up. Such a great team and good customer service!
