Sandalwood Spa

I visited Sandalwood Spa for the first time on Valentine’s Day and everything was amazing; the staff was nice and the atmosphere and massage (from Nick) was so relaxing! And the jacuzzi was a plus! I plan on returning for Mother’s Day and many other special occasions ;-)

I had the most wonderful experience… I felt so welcomed, and comfortable… The staff was so sweet and helpful and knowledgeable… She really was wonderful. Her name started with a K. Sweet little blonde girl who you just couldn’t help but adore from the moment you laid eyes on her!!! Her smile just made my experience amazing from the start… I had a mimosa, (complimentary) … Which my wonderful front desk girl with the first letter K have to me… Then I sat in the spa which I had all to myself on a ice relaxed area that was fabulous… Then came my massage. Hands down the best most absolute wonderful experience… Her name I do remember, it’s GLENNA. I made sure to get her card for the next time which there most definitely will be a next time!!! She was so amazing and fantastic, not only did she handle my problem areas with great skill, she and I had the best conversations… I felt like I could talk to her for ever! I felt that we really connected! She is one of the many reasons I will return! I loved her voice and the fact that she cared about what I had to speak about… Such an amazing experience… I want to thank this place so much for its wonderful hospitality and my wonderful massage therapist who really knows what she is doing! I feel great. Couldn’t have had a better experience and am more than pleased! If you get a chance please see her as I will be referring all friends here just for her! Can’t wait to come back!

The reason I booked massages here rather than a cheaper place was specifically to use the facilities, specifically the steam room. Super bummed they weren’t working. Really think they should have offered us a discount.

Beautiful surroundings, perfect ambiance, great service, talented spa technicians. Enough to keep you satisfied between services with the steam room, lounge, hot tub and complementary touches. Comfortable, clean. Great tea selection, and a nice menu for a meal while you relax.

Top notch and luxurious spa experience! Had the Bio-​therapy facial with Tracy. Very soothing and relaxing and Tracy explained everything she was doing as she went along. Full service spa with lockers, showers, towels, robes, slippers, hair dryers, amenities, Eucalyptus steam room and jacuzzi. Waiting room was relaxing and provided lemon water and granola. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go back and try a massage!

Overall this compares to any spa in Beverly Hills, Las Vegas and Palm Springs!

My wife and I both had neck, arm and facials. This was a first for me and won’t be the last. This was a one hour experience that should not be for women only. It was relaxing and decadent.
A relaxing table with excellent mood music. Being a neophyte I was told what was happening throughout the experience.
When this was done, I was very relaxed and counting the days I could come back for another treatment. Two thumbs up (wife and mine) for a great experience.

This spa is gorgeous! The atmosphere is very relaxing and indulgent. The massage services I had were wonderful. The massage therapist was great. She inquired as to the pressure that I prefer and if there were any areas to avoid or on which to concentrate. The services are very expensive, though they are comparable to the industry average. I will be looking forward to going back.

Tried spa for my birthday with friends and we all amazing massages. Mine, in particular, was with Deana and was the best massage I ever had. Afterwards, we sat in jacuzzi, showered and had lunch in the restaurant. I’m definitely going back!!!

Best facial on the Central Coast! Ask for Tracy — THE BEST, for sure.
Go earlier than your appointment and hang out in the wonderful relaxing waiting room. I’ve moved out of the area but every time I visit, Tracy is a MUST!

Front desk was very friendly, I was let down that they did not inform us on the phone that you should bring a bathing suit, all the spas I have been to (The Venetian in Las Vegas, Kapalua spa on Maui, The Kabuki in SF) have been clothing optional. Super bummed, I love the hot tub.
Spa was very pretty and relaxing, we had water and a very comfy robe to chill in while we waited for our treatments.
First treatment: Massage by Deana, was ok. I’d give it a 6 and my friend said a 4. She was super nice and I enjoyed chatting with her. But she never checked in with me and asked «how’s the pressure» or anything, I liked her as a person for sure, super cool. But not the best massage.
Second treatment: Facial by Tracy Tevis, Sooooo good! My friend and I loved our facials, it was relaxing and she answered all my questions and was a dream. We give her a 10 and would definitely go back to her.
Lunch: lunch was ok, I got the vegetable Panini, my friend got the sweet salad with chicken. My bff liked hers, I was a little disappointed to find dairy on mine, it did not say on the menu that cheese was involved, but it was. But I guess I should have asked, most people probably want cheese.
Third treatment: Body scrub by Dhwani, This was nice, my second scrub I’ve received at a spa. Only thing I don’t get is, why did they use the in room fancy shower for storage and walk me thru the spa to use the spa shower? I would have preferred the fancy one. The treatment was very nice and relaxing tho. My friend loved, I thought it was nice but I am more of a massage girl myself. If you like scrubs check out Dhwani or Tracy out, both did a great job.
We snuck a look around, I am not sure why they did not give us a tour, I think we could probably have used the pool with the water falls outside if we would have brought our swim wear, but maybe not since we are not members…
Over all those are the details, great day with my friend, I feel happy. It was around $ 700ish so I do feel it could have been a little nicer.

I have tried several spas and massage places in the area and this spa is the best. I love this Spa! I have gotten a couple massages here and it was fabulous. Its not just about getting a good massage but the overall atmosphere and ambiance of the spa is relaxing. Its like taking a retreat to a resort where you can hide away for an hour or two and unwind.

If you are looking for a local getaway — you have found the place! My husband and I recently visited to celebrate our anniversary, and it was PERFECT.
The front desk was very helpful and friendly, and we were escorted to our own lockers which had robes, flip flops and dark chocolate waiting for us! While waiting for our massage, there was a steam room and hot tub to relax in (unfortunately we got there just in time, so we did not have time to enjoy these amenities). From there, we were shown to a lounge which had comfortable chairs with cool water and treats to snack on. The ambiance was very relaxing and zen-​like. Once it was time for our massages, we were lead into a room that had glass floors with water running beneath them! So relaxing and beautiful.
Our massage therapists were very professional and talented! It was the best relaxation massage I have ever received — what a treat! Afterward my husband went to the bar to get us drinks while I was lead into their nail spa for a manicure. Allison was fabulous! She was very thorough and was in on all the new trends. She was friendly and attentive. They offer shellac at the spa, which I was very happy to find. My nails turned out perfect, and I got to enjoy champagne while getting them done!
My husband and I give Sandalwood 5 stars. We will definitely be back!

What a great experience this was!
As soon as I walked in, the staff knew who I was and why I was there.
I was whisked away by Eden to the Ladies Lounge, who proceeded to give me a grand tour of all the available amenities. The lounge is beautiful and I had the entire place to myself! The quiet room was perfect for relaxing. They offered unique fruits to noche on and the water was flavored with fresh strawberries (nice touch).
