History

Established in 1992.

At Five Star Lock & Safe, we are a family owned business with professionalism, and class. We offer a combined experience of over 40 years to service our customers. My name is Greg, and I am president of Five Star Lock & Safe. I started out in the lock, key and safe service industry, way back in the fall of 1986, working for several of the largest locksmith firms in the Midwest. While working for these firms, I achieved the prestigious certification of Certified Professional Locksmith. In the Spring of 1992, my wife and I started our own locksmith business, and saw it grow from a home based business to one of area’s largest brick and mortar storefront locksmith competitors, and one of only three locksmith shops in the area of 400,000 people. After moving to the Springfield area we decided to start Five Star Lock & Safe.
