Since writing my first review, we have continued to use AVC for servicing our autos. They even were kind enough to help facilitate a private sale of one our autos earlier this year. That said, over the last 12 – 15 months, we’ve noticed a slide in the service provided. In one instance, we were advised that the brakes on my wife’s car were in good shape. However, a follow-​up inspection showed the brakes to have deteriorated to the point that they had to be replaced.
We have other examples including leaking oil after a service visit. Cause of leak? The oil plug was not put back in correctly. How did we find out? Had another mechanic take a look at our vehicle and watched the entire time as he inspected our van. There have been other little things that have added up to frustration!
We’re on the fence about whether a change should be made in terms of getting our cars serviced.

This is my only mechanic. I have lived in this area for 23 years. I have tried a lot of garages. Chuck is the one I can trust. They are a little bit more expensive, but I know the job will be done right. They are also really generous with good advice. I know they are active in the community, donating to charity and serving in other ways. This is a great business.

Very honest. Very reasonable. We don’t take our cars anywhere else. Local business that really does what’s right by his customers!
