Hamilton County 4-H Fair

Staff are super helpful. The 4H fair is all about the kids. It is so nice to see a place that is so invested in the youth of Hamilton County. 4H is just not about farming so if you are looking for something for your kids to do xomw check out all the clubs and activities that are our and open to do.

Every year, I go. The food is great and inexpensive. $ 1 fruit slushie, $ 1.50 grilled corn on the cob, $ 3.50 rabbit sandwich. That was all I could eat on the first night. Next dinner, I ate $ 3 gigantic elephant ear and $ 3.50 lamb burger; it was so much I can leftovers.
The booths are great too. Check them out for free stuff. Farm animals to look at. Heard music this year.

I love our county’s fair! It’s great! Lots of 4H projects on display including my own and lots of animals and plenty of events. Get the Beck’s milkshakes they are awesome!

How could you not like the fair? I myself never participated in the 4-​H fair, but I admire the kids and teens who do! They spend all their «off season» time preparing their rabbits, cows, photo projects, and muffins for a chance at winning «Best of Show» or even getting to go to the State Fair. Good job, kids! The Hamilton County Fair seems like a fairly large fair in comparison to other counties, which is probably why it is always packed, packed, packed and you can never find a place to park. A decent assortment of fair foods are available for consumption as well as some craft vendors and other organizations who wish to pass you their literature. My personal favorites as far as animals: horses and llamas. My favorite projects are the photography projects. Best food is, of course, elephant ears. It seemed like pygmy goats were the shining stars of the fair this year, I have never seen so many all at once! You really can’t go wrong at the fair, though I suggest going during the day to avoid the after work crowds and ensure easy parking! Good job to all involved in the Hamilton County 4-​H Fair!
