In tonight for a cocktail while waiting on take out. Ordered 2BOWLS of CLAMCHOWDER(GOTONE), MEASURED ½ CUP. Ordered A BLT… bacon tasted old and chewy Ordered a burger(got it home, long light brown hair in it) After wife got the hair, family refused to eat their items. They would not eat the 2 orders of wings. FOR90BUCKS??? FORALL… Called the restaurant(WOLFIES) back, person who answered said they would put me down for a free burger??? HERVOICETONEWAS, YEASURE, I DIDNOTWANT A REFUND. SHESAIDTHEYALLWEARHAIRNETS… I WENTBACKINBACKDOORANDPHOTOEDTHECOOK, SAMEHAIRCOLORANDLENGTHASINMYBURGER, NOHAIRNET! Sent picture to Hamilon County Health Dept. Scott…turn you back, say its bulltaters… sooner or later someone will get very sick. Your liquor profits will not protect you from the CDC or the HCHD. Ive heard many complaints about same in area, and you ignore. You think when you ask folks face to face they are telling the truth, they are being nice, avoiding a conflict, when you or your wife walk away, they tell whats up. Never care before, but this was beyond disgusting. I

Nice place to relax and get a quick bite to eat. Has a great view of the lake which adds to the environment. Food was good and they have a full bar.

Do not even waste your time or money! Staff is totally rude! I ordered dinner in the bar with my girlfriend, and there was no «salt» on most of the tables… I had to get my own off another table. I asked why, and was told by the«bartender/waitress that it was«salt night!» meaning it is was the night to fill the salt dispensers. Well, after that they brought our food and my fries with the ribs I ordered were cold as can be. I told the«bartender/waitress» they were cold, and she said she would get me more. After I had finished my ribs and all my other food, she finally brought them to warm ones to me. I politely told her that I had lost my appetite and that I could go to McDonalds and pay $ 6 and at least get warm fries and salt… unlike having to pay $ 45 for cold fries and no salt. She then tells me I am not ALLOWED to complain about the food as a customer!!! So the next thing I know the«female manager» comes to the table, and tells me I cannot insult her employee, because they only pay her $ 2.13 per hour!!! Can you believe it??? I as a customer am not allowed to register a complaint to the staff, because they pay their employees so cheaply!!! I thought I had heard it all!!! Then, she tells me I am not welcome there and I need to leave, and never come back!!! So here is what tell all of you considering spending your money at this worthless place!!! BOYCOTIT!!! NEVERGOTHERE!!! ANDTELLALLYOURFRIENDSTONEVERSPENDTHEIRMONEYTHERE!!! First, to be treated like that as a customer, and be told I am not ALLOWED to complain!!! Second, to tell me I am not ALLOWED to say anything to the employees because MANAGEMENT pays their employees $ 2.13 per hour!!! BOYCOTTHISPLACE and PUTTHEMOUTOFBUSINESS!!!

The prices can sneak up on you. With tip, our bill for two adults and a child was $ 70 for lunch. That said, we did enjoy quite a bit of food and it was all delicious! We arrived by boat, and they have docks on the Morse Reservoir. They also have outside seating that faces the Reservoir. It was nice that we went in November and they still had the tables outside. The ambiance is half family restaurant, half kitschy Florida dive bar. The food was the star and here’s the lowdown on what we had: — Kid’s meal with chicken fingers and fries. Handbreaded tenders and my toddler was able to eat the mild buffalo sauce. — Wedge salad. Smothered in house made blue cheese dressing, this was delicious and mastered the dressing to lettuce ratio. — Chowder. Respectable. — Ribs. They had a flavorful dry rub, very little fat, and were moist enough to eat without sauce. But the BBQ sauce was good with them, too. — Bison burger. I ordered it medium and it actually came medium, which is no small feat apparently because this rarely happens at other places. It was a half-pound and I demolished it. Try it with blue cheese and a side of buffalo sauce for dipping. I swapped fries for onion rings. They were your run of the mill batter dipped rings, nothing special but done well. This was such a hike for us, we probably will not make it there often. But I am curious to try the Fishers and Carmel locations.

Overall a good experience. The food was pretty good but nothing too special. My wife ordered the seared tuna salad and she thought it was really tasty. My son ordered the prime rib sandwich. Also good but the fries were not that great. My bacon cheeseburger was nice sized just not great. My fries were not very hot or crispy either. The Bloody Mary was excellent. They served Cream Ale, always a plus. The service was fast but got slower as the place filled up. The view is very good and it has a nice atmosphere. We will definitely go back.

We go to Wolfies several times each month, because we like the atmosphere and the good variety of food. Sitting on the deck during the summer with the view of the lake is very relaxing. The servers are always attentive and friendly. I personally have tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed.

UPDATE: I received a note from Beth H. explaining that they have installed changing tables in ALL of their restaurants around Indy! I’m blown away by the outstanding customer SERVICE first attitude and I look forward to going back to Wolfie’s soon! We also LOVE the Carmel location and frequent it often. THANKYOU for listening. I know this is something other parents will appreciate in the future! I love this restaurant. It’s conveniently located between my home and my parents. Love the lake views and the low rent — not too stuffy atmosphere. I love the Parmesan chicken. Get it! The broccoli is divine. My kids love the mac&cheese. It’s really good(I’ve snuck a few noodles). Great beer and wine list. Good prices. So why 2 stars? Well they claim they are family friendly. They have high chairs and kids menu. They don’t mind an extra mess when the kiddos spill. They have a separate bar area for those who don’t want to indulge in the kid-friendly spaces. Buuuut there are no changing tables in the bathroom. I was forced to change my niece who cannot stand unassisted on the nasty, wet bathroom floor just inside the bathroom while my 4 year old peed in her own stall alone bc she couldn’t wait. Thankfully my niece only went #1 and I didn’t HAVE to wipe her much. While I balanced her with one hand, I was hit my the door as others attempted to get in. I asked the manager on duty if they do, in fact, consider themselves«family friendly» to which he responded«yes of course». I enlightened him on the fact they don’t have a changing table. He apologized and said he would let«them» know. I did make a bit of a scene. He came to the table and informed me that I could go upstairs and use a couch in their private room but I had already changed her. And what happens if that space is being used? It was unfortunate bc I will not be back. I cannot possibly be the first person to encounter this. How is a restaurant to claim this but have no clean area OFF the ground that we can change a diaper? I shall do it at the table next time. Ruined my otherwise fantastic experience despite a long wait for food. Annoying and disappointing. Family friendly — not unless you’re potty trained.

What’s not to like at this fine waterfront restaurant and bar? We enjoyed a nice evening with another couple here on a Saturday night. We requested a table on the deck so our wait was about 50 minutes. We didn’t mind. We grabbed a small table in the bar and had a couple drinks and an appetizer. My husband’s first drink was much weaker than the second. And the pretzel breadsticks were tasty but seemed to have been warmed up in a microwave. Our view on the deck was exquisite! The steamed broccoli with my entrée was perfect! The panko breaded chicken was nice but needed a little extra seasoning. The loaded mashed potatoes were tasty. Our server, Craig, on the deck provided us with top notch service. And I can’t forget to mention, Dylan, in the bar. Both were friendly and personable and took great care of us. We will return!

Drinks were good, «Not your Dad’s Rootbeer» and Long Island ice tea. Atmosphere and service was exceptional. Food, not so great. Salmon was fishy tasting, probably a day old. Tried the«Famous» ribs and was disappointed. They were dry, crumbly and obviously not fresh. I’m guessing they were yesterdays, refrigerated and re — heated. Too bad, cool place but bad food. Would defiantly go back for drinks and atmosphere, but that’s it.

Two words, the view. That’s worth it for me. I have always had pretty good food here. I did have the steak once and I was not thrilled. It’s not amazing food, but it’s good

Definitely a place that is more about the atmosphere and the experience than the food. For someone visiting the area or someone who lives in the area who has outsiders visiting… this is a pretty good option for dinner, I suppose… the view of the lake that can be seen from the deck seating outside is the main attraction here. If you leave near Morse Reservoir, you see this often, so most of the novelty is taken away. The food is nothing special. It’s alright, but in Hamilton County we have hundreds of restaurants… easy to find somewhere better. The wait? Usually much too long to make it worth going. It’s always busy. Don’t even THINK about going during the Fourth of July weekend… you won’t find a parking spot.

Good service. The waters and waitresses are always attentive and trying to please. Food served hot or cold as expected. Complaints are cheerfully and promptly tended to. Management is pleasant, and aims to please. Great bar/grill style food and service. Consistent over the years to give service as expected.

We spent our Sunday afternoon here! Watching the boats, and enjoying drinks. Nothing fancy about the food, but I enjoyed it. I had a tenderloin and my fiancé had a patty melt. We both thought it was good. Good view, good beer. We will go back.

Chicken was under cooked ended up with food poisoning. And mashed potatoes were cold and skins over powered the«mash potatoes»

This is a great place to dine outdoors, kick back and watch the boats on Morse Reservoir. For dinner, I had their buffalo chicken wrap. The food came out within ten minutes. The crispy, hot chicken complemented the cool, crisp lettuce. It was served with tortilla chips and salsa. The salsa was average. Otherwise, it was a good wrap. I had the fried tenderloin sandwich here before and loved it.

Visited Wolfie’s Grill for a business lunch on a Friday. We had a beautiful and relaxing view of the lake. It was a perfect day — not too hot with just a slight breeze. The service was great. I had the salmon salad and it was a huge salad. The other lady at our table also had a salad. It was a perfect lunch! I’ve read the bad reviews but my experience was great. The outdoor area looked clean and nice. The service, food, and view were all top notch!

service = 2, food = 3, atmosphere = 4 Delivered a cranberry salad without cranberries, chicken was dry and they also had the wrong dressing. The server waited for over 15 minutes to check back with us — I finally got up and had to go find the manager.

Updated — Worse experience! We had hear tons of great things about Wolfies and decided to try it out. It was very crowded as expected. We decided to sit on the patio so we could get seated immediately. It is a bit chilly but we have coats on. We ordered our food and the appetizers came out pretty quickly. We then proceeded to wait over an hour for our food. When our server came a told us she forgot to ring it up. So sitting in the cold and our order didn’t get back to the kitchen. We decided to ask for it to go because it is so cold. Still waiting for our food now been here for 2 hours. I would at least expect them to offer us the next table inside. But nothing. Highly disappointed. Which I am sad because I was really excited to try it out. So service gets a zero. I will update once we get our food. If that ever happens. Update: So decided to call the manager. Explained no hard feelings. Food was great, but they need to be more diligent. He apologize and they are going to send me a gift card. So I raise my rating to a 3, because customer service is where it is at. For the new waitress, she was respectful and things happen. I am willing to give Wolfies a second chance. I will update again once I go for my second visit. Next time I am hoping to give them a 5 star review. Stay tuned. :)

Wolfie’s is your typical American food restaurant. What makes it great is its location(right on Morse Reservoir), and the fact that Nyla owns it. It’s good food, and a good atmosphere, but it also has its drawbacks. I have to say, of the few times that I’ve been there, I’ve never really received stellar service. Also, my family typically goes for early dinner, so it’s not crowded, but we might see our server three times in the entirety of the time we’re there. That’s kiiiind of a red flag for me. The food is good, but it’s not the best thing of your life, ya know? I think if their service was awesome, it’d get 4 or 5 stars from me, easy. They’ve gotta pick up the pace for that though. I do think it’s a Noblesville staple, and it’s fun. Check it out, you’ll get good food, you just might not tip a full 20%.

It takes A LOT for me to write a bad review. I come from a restaurant background so I can see through a lot of ‘lines’ from staff to the real issues. And this place has issues. Our time quotes for a table was inaccurate, once seated we endured long waits for greeting through to the appetizers. Which were lovely to stare out with no plates or silverwear. My entrée was the wrong menu item, again. Like I said previously, I can over look that for the view and it being a holiday weekend, how busy they were, and that we were a large group. I cannot, however, forgive the lack of presence by management. You, my friend, need to reevaluate how much being on a lake can/will save you. .I won’t be the last bad review I’m sure.

Yeah the view and location is terrific, but I’ve never gotten into the whole«marina/day-on-the-lake» scene… it just isn’t my thing. I love the water but the faux Jimmy Buffet vibe turns me off and this place reeks of it. Throw in a couple of sub-par appetizers(dry buffalo chicken nachos buried in lettuce and stuffed mushrooms with absolutely terrible crab meat), sprinkle in a 3-man band playing soft 70s and 80s dreck, get seated one table over from a 45 year old adolescent who should have been cut off 6 beers ago and you have the makings of a very solid two star review. Maybe I would have felt better after trying the food but post-appetizer wasn’t going to spend the money. The waitresses were extremely nice.
