History
Established in 2007.
River Oaks Landing is a Local Landmark in Nobleton, Florida. Built in the early 1900’s it was, for many years, the General Store/Post Office. It is on the Withlacoochee River and boasts the forest as its backyard.
Rescued and renovated by its owners, Dave and Patti Charnecki, it is a unique and charming shop that combines the old with the new, the useful & unusual and, the beautiful.
Serving Working Cow Ice Cream, (St. Petersburg) since its inception, quests are invited to enjoy their ice cream on the dock or along the River bank.
Truly a little bit of old fashion Florida.
Meet the Business Owner
Dave and Patti C.
Business Owner
Having opened her first business in 1969, Patti still loves the excitement and challenge of going to the trade shows in search of lovely treasures for the shop. She delights in having ‘her snowbirds’ come back year after year and catching up on past events. And, watching the local kids sprout up from adolescents to towering teenagers is a joy. Rewarding them with an ice cream when they come in with their all A and B report cards, certificates for perfect attendance or making honor role makes her day.
Patti jokingly says that she is the oldest antique in the shop and that she just might become the oldest super scooper on the planet.
