Wells Fargo Bank

This Wells Fargo is the closest we can get to having one in eastvale. There usually isn’t a big line, I think I’ve encountered some wait time a couple of times but usually it flows well. There’s always a couple of people who greet you at the door and the bank tellers are very polite and fast. Parking is never an issue which is great.

I’ve never been inside this location… So this review is because I’ve only used the ATM’S located outside of their branch. I really like this location because it’s located on the corner on Main /​Hamner & Hidden valley. As a woman I get a little nervous approaching Atm machines, but this area is very well lit and the constant traffic in & out of the parking lot I feel very safe.
I haven’t come across any loitering which is a bonus around a bank.

When managers don’t know how to handle a low dollar transaction from a current customer with established credit and funds on deposit, they hustle you out making up an excuse why they can’t do something. Go to another branch. If a manager is clueless at a branch on a simple transaction, how can they handle anything complicated? Customers entrust mortgages and retirement portfolios with them? Avoid.

Ok, of all the Wells Fargo locations this one is my absolute favorite and for one reason. CUSTOMER SERVICE! My most recent trip here, I needed to get a direct deposit slip (new job, YAY). The line was a little long but it moved pretty quickly. The woman who helped me (and I really wish I remembered her name because she was awesome) was bubbly and shed light into the otherwise mundane task of visiting your local bank. She was quick, efficient and even when there was a slight delay (my fault entirely) she made sure to take care of my needs and went above and beyond. Personally, this isn’t the closest branch to my home but I make sure to stop here whenever I need to actually go inside to take care of something.
The only complaint is their parking lot situation… it is a little hectic.

I don’t have a checking account with Well’s Fargo, I only have a credit card and line of credit.
Why don’t I have a checking account, you may ask. Well that’s because I would not have even had any dealing with Well’s Fargo in the first place because I have a credit union that gives me free checks and doesn’t make me have a minimum balance or use my debit card so many times a month and charge me a ridiculous fee if I fail to do one of those things.
I had to open a checking account because I was receiving checks with Well’s Fargo checks and it seemed like it would be easier to cash them at a Well’s Fargo branch instead of driving to Temecula to my bank, which has opened a new branch in Corona and I’m switching everything to them now. The people at Well’s Fargo told me opening an account would be easy and no hassle at all, well that was a lie.
Once I didn’t need to cash checks with them anymore I closed my checking account with them, which had started to accrue a fee since I hadn’t been using it for a while. However, I was told it would be good for my credit to keep credit cards and line of credit that were in good standing open even if I was not using them anymore. At this point I really don’t care anymore and I will probably close them.
Because I left my credit card open I would use it from time to time and have to go into the brach to make the payment which was fine. However, every time I go in to make a payment they hound me over why I don’t have a checking account with them and the tellers call over managers to try to convince me and ultimately it comes down to whether or not they can give me a completely free checking account with no strings attached which they cannot, and I already have elsewhere, and I leave. This happens every single time and I’m really tired of it. Obviously if you can tell that my account has been closed for a while then I’m not interested.
Also, when I go in to make payments on my line of credit or my credit card, not only do they ask me questions about why I idon’thave a checking account, they completely have no idea what I’m asking them to do. EVERY TIME. All I tell them is to put a certain amount of money toward whichever account and EVERY TIME they explain to me that they can’t show me my new balance and I NEVER asked them to. Last time a manager was called over and after I told her I didn’t want to know the balance she talked to me like I was an infant and raised her voice, slowed down her rate of speech and said «WE CAN’T TELL YOU WHAT THE NEW BALANCE IS, WE ONLY KNOW WHAT IS WAS BEFORE YOU MADE A PAYMENT.» I was so fed up I did the same to her «I DON’T CARE WHAT ANY BALANCE IS I JUST WANT YOU TO PUT MONEY ON MY ACCOUNT IF YOU CAN’T DO THAT THEN SEND OVER SOMEONE WHO IS MORE COMPETENT AND LESS CONDESCENDING.» Then she miraculously got what I was saying for some reason.
Either way Well’s Fargo and its employees are beyond annoying.

I had been putting off reviewing this location for a long time because I’ve really tried to like this bank, (since I regularly have to go in there for my company,) however I just can’t get on board with how poorly this place is run as far as customer service goes; not to mention parking is atrocious.
I will refrain from using the name of the teller I deal with most often, but let’s just say for being a «Lead Teller» he sure doesn’t act with the professional manner one would expect. Let me explain.
At this location, there are 2 lines you can enter as a customer: the general one on the left and also a business line on the right. There are signs that indicate 2 specific teller spots associated to the business customers. However, rarely do you actually get serviced in these lines. That would be fine I guess (even though a separate line indicates that business services would be dealt with at a priority level/​or at the very least, a separate manner from the general customers, otherwise what is the point of it?!) More often than not I end up waiting far longer then those in the regular line. On one recent occasion I waited over 20 minutes to be helped and took stock on who entered the other line when I did. Since this was becoming a frequent occurance.
Once I was finally assisted (8 minutes after the person who entered the general line as I entered the seemingly much shorter business line,) I asked the lead teller what purpose the business line serves if it does not often have a dedicated teller nor expedited service in practice? The answer I was given was a snide remark that it’s «not an express lane.»
Really? That’s an unbelievably poor customer service response. «Especially from a Lead Teller.» Management needs to address this customer service fail as well as the more important issue of not adequately assisting the business customers using this bank location. Why have the lines and signs if they don’t actually do anything?

Every time I come here I stand in the business line since I have a business account and it ends up taking forever. I am passed up by people in the standard line even though I have been waiting longer. The tellers need to be trained to pay attention to this, unfortunately there are no other Wells Fargo ’ anywhere near me so I have to deal with it.

Wells Fargo is not the bank to do business with. They take short cuts and cut corners all in the name of higher profits. Customers have not been their priority for many years. Their own investments with your money are all they care about. You are just a number and they could care less about you or your needs. This particular branch is a very good example of how poor Wells Fargo’s services truly are. Join a credit union if you want to be treated with respect and receive valuable services. Wells Fargo doesn’t deserve your business!

This has got to be the slowest Wells Fargo in the nation! The business line takes longer then the regular line. F this place

Quick review as I don’t bank there, but we do stop in often for my father in law. I hate, really hate trying to park here. It is on the corner of super busy inlet to the shopping center and leaving your are stuck with having to navigate a busy road or making a big trip around the building depending on which way you want to. The service is good and the people are friendly. I will agree the lines can get a bit long, but again seem to move relatively fast. If it wasn’t for dreading parking here I would rate it better.

Employees always seem very friendly. I come in here several times a week and have never had an issue.
Sometimes the lines get long but it always seems to move quickly. They usually have four or five people helping with customers at the windows.

Great service, clean, with helpful staff. Great bank.

What a negative experience. My husband tried to cash a Wells Fargo check at this Wells Fargo bank in Norco from his current company out of Scottsdale, AZ. He doesn’t have a WF account but he had 2 IDs (Calif drivers license AND a passport) They proceeded to call the 92 year owner in Scottsdale directly questioning if the check really had been made out to him! They couldn’t reach him so they wouldn’t cash it. So he went across the street to CITIBANK where he does have an account and they said no problem.
