Atlanta Carpet & Air Duct Cleaners

This place is awful! They finally showed up and didn’t do the job properly. We have had to call them many many many times to reschedule. We called them to clean the dryer vents and they didn’t do it. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

Your time is worth more than the discount they offer.
Cleaner was 5 hours late. He called at 830 (when he was supposed to be there) to let us know that he was running late. Then at 9 to let us know he had a flat. Then at 10:30 to let us know he was still waiting for AAA. Then at 12:30 to let us know it would be 1:30. Well 1:30 came and went, still nothing. My wife called him at 2 and was told he was on the way. She asked if he was actually in a moving vehicle. That would mean he’s 5 minutes away since he told us he was at Canton and 92 when the flat occurred.
I called the company to complain and was told the guy wouldn’t be there before 3pm. At this point, my wife has rescheduled her day, twice, so I’m thinking we should get an additional discount. Well that wasn’t going to happen because then they’re spending more in gas than they’re getting for the job, so I told him he’s cleaning some additional areas and rugs for free. That might happen.
Their sob story: At 9am got a call that driver was on side of road at 575 and exit 4 (remember he told us Canton and 92 when he called). They called AAA who apparently guarantees them 45 minute service. Two hours later the driver wasn’t answering his phone. They finally tracked down AAA and got someone there. Then the driver went to his other job even though he was 5 — 10 minutes from our house no matter which location was the correct one. Apparently they book 2 appointments per window. We were surprised that there is a window since no one told us that when scheduled.
One of these days I’ll remember to check Unilocal before I hire someone.

Terrible — — Beware. I called them for air duct cleaning and Dreyer vent cleaning and they showed up in a carpet cleaning can. They ran a 4″ hose down my vents about five feet and said they cleaned them. They were suppose to move my dryer and clean my vent from the inside out and they didn’t. They had to borrow my ladder and clean it from the outside which they did and absolute poor job. Same Israeli guy showed up. The guy on the phone was so convincing about how good there work was. I asked the guy would my house have a clean smell and he said yes they would treat it for mold and mildew. Well they do for an extra 150 bucks. They failed to mention that on the phone. These are absolute SCAM artist. When I called to complain the lady on the phone said she would have the owner call me and he never did. I called back and talked to the same lady and again she said the owner would call me and again he never did. Trust me go somewhere else. Do your homework like I wish I should have done.

They were terrible. Very dishonest. We sent our carpet to them for cleaning and it looked like they never touched it! Do not use.

This company promised an arrival at my house between 1−2pm on a Friday. By 2:15, no one was here. When I called, they said, «oh we had you down for 2−3pm. Sorry!» So, they call back at 3 and say that the rain delayed the technician’s work that morning and he would be there at 4pm. At 4, the techinician calls and says he will be here at 4:30. At 4:30, he calls and says he will be here at 5pm.
At 5pm, he shows up and immediately proceeds to do the old bait-​and-​switch routine: «steam cleaning doesn’t really clean your carpet; it will set the stains. You need full-​service shampoo, etc.etc.» I tell him I only want the steam, and he says, «well, I’m collecting your money up front, because you’re not going to be happy.»
Non-​professional, rude, and obnoxious. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM (AS IS RELIABLE CARPET AND AIR DUCT!)
First off, be warned of BOTH Reliable Carpet & Air Duct AND Atlanta Air Duct Cleaning because the same technician showed up representing both of them. I kid you not! They will tell you over the phone that they can do the job for around $ 69 for a two bedroom/​two bath and then raise the price to $ 200 when they arrive. If you refuse the inflated price, they refuse to do the work. NO JOKE!
My first appointment was with Reliable (insert irony here). I am the landlord, so I only spoke with the service guy on the phone while my tenant dealt with him face to face. The technician said that the system needed the deluxe $ 200 package. When I said that he should attempt the $ 69 version first, he suddenly didn’t have the right equipment (nothing portable?) and would have to come back. He never called again.
So, I decided to try Atlanta Air Duct. This time, I met the tech and told them ahead of time to bring portable equipment. THE SAME GUY SHOWED UP IN A DIFFERENT TRUCK! He has a distinct accent (Israeli, I think?) and although he initially denied it, he eventually admitted that he had been to the property two days earlier. He told some crazy story about the owners splitting up and he working for both. Again he said it would cost $ 200 and this time flat out refused to do the work for anything less.
Anyway, I called the owner (same accent, shocker), a woman who insisted that she would get to the bottom of the situation. Guess what? She never called me back either.
I wasted 2 days dealing with these con artists. Don’t make my mistake. BEWARE!
