Blueberry pancakes are so delicious, the biscuits are real good, the little shop inside is super cute. Also the décor is cute, love the chess table outside we always play when we are leaving. The food is really cheap too. Oh and they are pretty quick.

One of their employees is a thief. I went here on a Tuesday night, and while I was eating I took my sunglasses off and placed them on the table. I had my meal, and once it was time to pay, my waitress was nowhere to be found. I waited for over 15 minutes for her before I decided to just go up and pay the bill. I got up from the table, leaving my sunglasses.(I know, big mistake, but I was irritated for waiting so long for this waitress). I went back to the table to pick up my sunglasses, and EVERYTHING except the sunglasses was still there. The leftover food, the water, even my tip, was still there. However, the sunglasses, were not. There were only 2 other families in the restaurant at this time, who were sitting on the other side of the restaurant, no where near our table. I talked to the manager, who did little to nothing to help. She said she would check with her dishwashers the next day to see if anything showed up, but she would not question her employees. Her employees are the only ones who would have had an opportunity to take the sunglasses. This is a big reflection on Cracker Barrel and their practices. I will never again dine at a Cracker Barrel. Terrible experience.

Honestly food is just ok and overpriced. Not sure why I came here more than once. Probably only because my friends wanted to come. Tried it like 3 times and all three times it’s whatever. Souvenirs store is way overpriced as well. Not sure why this place is busy at times

Went here today with my Mother for lunch and the service was so terrible. The food was good but we sat for almost 20 minutes before we were greeted. When my friend Shon was the host there he always made sure everyone was taken care of everyone loved Shon and looked forward to seeming him. We would literally go there every Sunday for 2 years just to see Shon and give him a hug. Now that he is gone they are all lost. Everyone is just standing around not providing any level of customer service. I love the pancakes but I will not be going back for quite some time.

Positives: Grilled rainbow trout is good at most of the CB locations, this location in particular. I don’t know what seasoning they use, but it is good. And grilled means grilled here, no greasy anything. Negatives: collard greens were lukewarm and grits way too watery(with a few lumps — never appetizing). For me, its only about the grilled trout at this location.

Had a horrible experience. My eggs were cooked wrong twice. The manager accidentally bumped my knife off of the table and did not bring me a new one. The managers did nothing to rectify the mistakes they made with our meals. Horrible customer service. I will not be returning to this establishment.

We went to this location on New Years Day, late evening. They were out of some foods and said that two of their stoves were down. All of that is understandable, but they served me a rotted sweet potato. There’s no way they couldn’t have seen this, seeing as though they sliced it open to put brown sugar in it. The Mac & cheese at this location was the worst I’ve ever had; wasn’t cheesy at all. They comp’d my meal because of the sweet potato, but I will never return to this location again.

My son and i went in last night to grab dinner. It has been a while since I had been in a Cracker Barrel restaurant. I forget how much I love that little country store. We get in line to be seated and I notice that there are some cute bottled drinks. I ask my son if we would like to try one for dinner. he begins looking and the hostess looks utterly annoyed. so i tell him to come on and we will order something at the table. He seats us at a sticky table with crumbs scattered towards the end which tells me they wiped down really fast. The waitress was pleasant. my raspberry tea was never brought out to me nor was my water refilled. My check was brought out while i was eating but she did tell me not to rush with my food. however i did want a dessert which I did not order. She did however remember to put my to go order in and have it ready for me in good time. Manager as pretty much anchored to one place on the floor through our whole dinner. He hardly said a thing or moved. if anything he looked angry. I love the food here. I cannot complain. Most dishes are under $ 10 which beats a McDonald meal at almost $ 8 anyday.

Food was pretty descent. The sweet tea & the fried okra was a game changer for me !! Service was a little spotty, they brought the check before I even made a dent in my food. The little shop you get bombarded with upon entering & exiting sufficed Its purpose. I ended up buying 5 ornaments… & spending more than I planned too. Props, great marketing tactic! Enjoyed the experience :) service & food was pretty average in my opinion.

My first time ever to a Cracker Barrel and i had some higher expectations and mixed reaction. First upon entering the store they have some interesting items you may not find elsewhere. We tried the Roast beef dinner with hashbrown casserole and sweet whole baby carrots, Chicken tenderloin dinner with hashbrown casserole, brown rice pilaf and country green beans, Half pound bacon cheeseburger, House salad, Side of veggie of the day, Side of biscuits and cornbread, Cracker barrel sampler with corn, mac n cheese and sweet potato, French toast with scrambled eggs and sausage; Reluctantly, we only liked the roast beef, house salad and the maple syrup that went with the french toast! service was ok and felt could be better…

Surprisingly, the ribeye steak is delicious. I love their ranch dressing and I wish the sold bottles of it. The little bottles of syrup they give you are always warm. If you ask for blueberry syrup, the give you a huge bottle. I always take the unused syrup home. Their sawmill gravy is the only gravy I like(anywhere). The country ham is good and salty, and the bacon is thick cut and crisp. The gift shop is a blast to walk through. They sell a lot of interesting seasonal items, and TONS of old fashioned candy you can’t get anywhere else. One time, they even had powdered Mister Bubble bubble bath, which I hadn’t seen in many years. They are the only place I’ve found that sells maple syrup candy which is out of this world.

Ordered the apple pecan waffle breakfast. Got granola on it instead. Potato«stuffed» hashbrowns were old, stale, and cold. Never finished my meal. Very disappointed, this was my first time there. $ 28 for 2 breakfasts with apple juice, very pricey.

I have been here for brunch on the weekends a couple of times. It’s a 30 minute wait each time. A little tough to find parking, but got a space after waiting about five minutes for one. The shop has many cute and interesting items to browse while waiting for a table. The shop has seasonal décor to purchase, so it does change inventory from time to time. The breakfasts were delicious. Excellent eggs, bacon, grits, biscuits, pancakes — a real feast with very generous portions and the price was amazing. A real bargain with great service and a fun atmosphere. I think it was worth the wait for a table. I can’t wait to go again!

The design and size of CB’s are all the same so nothing new there. The store itself wasn’t very well kept. Our table was dirty and the chairs were sticky. The real issue though was the food. It was very subpar. I got an omelette that was so sad looking(see my photo). The menu says their food is «made from scratch» but I don’t see how. They were powdered eggs. The ham inside was chewy. The presentation was unimpressive. The hashbrown casserole was not cold and clearly had been scooped from a large tray. The top was hard and the inside was soft. The biscuits were the only fresh tasting item. A friend got regular eggs and it was equally sad looking and powder based. The food just wasn’t good. The service was pretty friendly. The manager walked by to check on people, which I think is a professional thing to do. But the food is just downright displeasing.

Over the years that has passed, Cracker Barrel on McDonough Drive in Norcross has tried and tried to improve everything, but has failed to no end. Because the management is by far the worst in the industry, the servers are nothing than robots, and the food comes straight from a box or a bag. Even the stale junk that is sold before one enters the eating area has a lot to be desired. It doesn’t make a difference how many letter or emails to Corporate Headquarters regarding all of the faults, nothing has or will ever change. How does a restaurant run out of meats before the main dinner hours arrives if the idiot who orders goods never ordered. How long does it take a robot to tell the patron that a meat has run out and keep the patron waiting for a half hour before telling the patron? If one is lucky enough to survive all of the above and still wants desert, a scoop of ice cream, which is the size of a quarter dollar, make the patron wonder, are they rationing ice cream? The end result is that you as the patron, could have gone elsewhere for the same amount of money, received a better meal without the hassles and faults of Cracker Barrel on McDonough Drive, and probably enjoyed it better.

I work in the area so we come here often. The food is great but the service is always lacking. More often than not we are having to go back and get our order fixed. They are always quick to fix the problem but c’mon…

Sunday lunch at the Cracker Barrel is SO busy. But the predicted 35 minute wait for three turned out to be only 25 minutes. We ordered the Sunday Fried Chicken for $ 9.29. The fried chicken was very crispy and juicy. The two sides we got with it were the fried okra and the Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was good but not memorable. The breading on the fried okra was tough and chewy and was not good. We also ordered the Catfish platter with three sides for 10.49(I believe was the cost). We got the hashbrown casserole, green beans and the mashed potatoes with brown gravy. The catfish was crispy, as well. It came with tartar sauce which my friend noted tasted like cole slaw. The green beans and mashed potatoes were normal. But the hashbrown casserole was a cheesy addicting mess: mind blowing goodness in a casserole. Our server(I believe her name was Terri) was awesome! She remembered all our orders, remember all the options we had considered, made thoughtful alternate suggestions to our orders, and made sure our waters were always full. Ask for her if she’s in on Sunday afternoon! As a reminder for non Cracker Barrel veterans, when you’re done eating, bring your check to the cash registers in the store section of Cracker Barrel to pay your tab.

What I did not appreciate about my last visit here, today, was the simple fact that I had to wait, like, over 10 minutes just to pay my bill. There were 6 different people lined up, waiting to pay their bill with only one cashier working. I saw several people standing around while all this transpired. As far as the table service went, it was fine and I cannot say that I had to wait at all for coffee refills and our waitress was pleasant, attentive and efficient, but, I know that not all of the wait staff here are this good, judging from my past experiences. However, I was fortunate today. The bottle of Tabasco that they brought me had to lid on the top of the bottle do, when I put some on my Hashbrown Casserole, approx. 1⁄3 of the bottle went onto my plate. I called the Manager over and she promptly brought me another Hashbrown Casserole, free of charge. I like the location of this Cracker Barrel and the food quality is fair to average. The wait staff is where it is a more ‘hit-or-miss’ affair. I’ve had both, good and bad, here.

We stopped at this outlet of the chain on our way out of town on vacation. Even at 1:30 this place was still hopping although lots of tables were turning over as we were seated. Service was friendly and fairly quick and the food arrived relatively quickly. Reliable quality and service makes this a decent place to stop for a midday meal.

I was pretty bummed when our waitress left just about everything to be desired when it came to personality. We hadn’t been to Cracker Barrel in a very long time and I was ready for some of their fluffy biscuits and warm, homecoming feel. As soon as she spoke, however, that dream was swiped away from me. «What can I get you to drink?» was our greeting. What you can’t hear is me imitating her very gruff, rushed, impatient voice. She never told us her name, she *never* made eye contact, and every time she brought something to our table — straws, our food, the check — she reminded me of Flash Gordon. She was gone before I could raise my voice to ask for a refill on a cup of coffee. I never did get that refill. I also overheard her asking the hostess not to seat her section anymore, something about being frustrated, mumble, mumble, huffs off. And it wasn’t even that she was rushed, but that she was impatient and abrupt and almost annoyed with our presence. I get it. We’re all human, we all have bad days, we all lose our patience. But when you’re a server, and I am paying my hard earned money for a meal I want to enjoy, I don’t need a side of toast and your frustrations. I get that you see a million demanding people a day but I only see you once, and I’m shelling out cash to do so. So why the four stars? Because the food, as always, hit the spot. Their hash brown casserole always satisfies, and coupled with their biscuits and eggs, you can’t go wrong. I admit, I only come here for breakfast — the coffee is strong and the food rarely disappoints, and the service, usually, is what you want when you’re chowing down on some comfort food. Friendly, welcoming, ready to take care of all your hunger needs with a smile on top. Also, the manager was professional and kind. I rarely complain to a manager about lack of service, but this time I did, and he was extremely apologetic and understanding. I hated to do so but she ruined our experience. He was attentive and didn’t brush us off, and he took off the coffees from our bill. He didn’t have to do that, and we weren’t expecting it, but it was appreciated. It’s been ages since we’d eaten at a Cracker Barrel and now that I’ve had a taste of their good again, I’m sure I’ll be back pretty soon. That one waitress doesn’t represent their customer service standard so I am sure next time will be better.

This is the second Cracker Barrel I’ve been to. The service we got from the waitress was odd. She had pretty much zero personality, but she was great at keeping our drinks full. I really did not like that she brought our check before we had even finished eating(and never asked it we wanted anything else.) I had the Chicken Fried Steak dinner with corn, fries, and salad as my three sides. The salad came out before the rest of my meal, which I liked. It was a good salad. The rest of my meal was okay. The fries were so bad that I ate two and left the rest. The corn was pretty bland(even for corn), and seemed straight from a(cheap) can. The chicken fried steak itself was pretty good. Not the best, not the worst I’ve had. Boyfriend ordered the Sunday Special– Fried Chicken dinner, with pinto beans and mac n cheese for the two sides. He liked the pinto beans pretty well, but said that the mac n cheese was«cafateria-ish»(flavorless.) His fried chicken was really good. Two chicken breasts, breaded and deep fried ’til golden and super crispy. He gave me a taste, and I said that if we ever came back on a Sunday, I would get the fried chicken! The sweet tea here is passable, not the freshest tasting, but certainly not the worst. Seeing as the Cracker Barrel chain is a favorite of boyfriend’s parents, I’m more than sure we’ll end up at a Cracker Barrel again someday, but it’s still not a place that the two of us will go out of our way for.

I do like the Cracker Barrel brand. If nothing, it is straight up consistent across every restaurant that I have been to, from South Florida to Virginia and even out to Arizona. Close to the Interstate, rocking chairs on the«front porch», a store full of all sorts of crap I would never buy, and a menu with a lot of unhealthy choices(avoid the bacon and sausages — they’re WAY salty!) and a few healthier choices(I like the grilled catfish with steamed broccoli). Service today was the same as it always has been. Midway between the lunch rush and the dinner rush, I had a table quickly and my order taken quickly. The food didn’t take long at all. On the way out, I stopped at the Books on CD rack. Now this is a great thing that Cracker Barrel does. You«buy» the CD, listen to it in your car and when you return it to *any* Cracker Barrel, you get the purchase price back minus $ 4.95 per week. How’s that for awesome if you’re driving back and forth from Charlotte to Atlanta like I am these days. Good selection, too!

There’s nothing like a good Sunday meal after church. When I arrived I expected the wait to be very long since the church crowd was entering. To my surprise, the wait was between five and ten minutes. They seem to do a pretty good job clearing tables and seating the next party, with the exception of almost being knocked over by a bus boy here and there or having a dirty napking fall on you as you eat lol. I ordered the catfish southern dinner plate with cheese grits, turnip greens, and cornbread. The catfish was light, crispy and well seasoned. The cheese grits had the perfect amount of cheese but lacked flavor. The turnips were ok and didn’t have enough pot licker to soak up my cornbread. The raspberry lemonade I had was AMAZING! I will definitely be back to this location. Fast and friendly service… good food… and a well rounded meal for just under $ 11. Oh and that fireplace is everything on a cold day in Georgia!

It’s a Cracker Barrel, just like the one every 15 or so miles on the interstate. There is NOTHING different about it, except this one was right down the street from Netherworld. The food is good, plentiful and decently made, and the price is reasonable. I won’t complain. Sometimes the service is slow, other times it’s quick like a bunny.
