Only two stars for the price and quantity but it wasn’t good it was only edible, I’ve always wanted to stop by because it is packed all the time. But it seemed grimey, I guess it’s just packed because they have very low prices I’m guessing

ITWASSOOOOBAD I WANTEDTOCRY! I’ve always wanted to come here since it’s down the street from where I live. Did I mention that It was sooo bad I wanted to cry! how do you mess up pancakes! It was hard and chewy! Omelet was flat, potatoes were boiled then quickly heated up on the flat grill w a little season salt. French toast flat and flemsy, they only battered one side because there was an egg crust on the one side. They left out the milk & spices, for sure. Cream for my coffee was fake cream. the three main ingredients were water, sugar, and milk derivative. What the hell is milk derivative ! The exterior building is a hideous yellow and the interior wasn’t any better. The lighting inside was A combination of warehouse fluorescent lighting and some old school grandmas lighting. The kind of lighting that grandma has on the end table with a doily. Won’t be back for sure to try out their lunch or dinner. This place is been there for years. I wonder how they keep up w their expenses.

Absolutely delicious. I found my lunch spot. This is definitely somewhere I would eat every single day. Real country cooking, extremely affordable, fast, friendly, and plenty of parking.

This place is always busy but the food here is not good quality country home cooking. Just quick and cheap.

Do’t get this one confused with the one on Clairmont. That one is decent food at a great price. This one I could only take a couple of bites and had to throw away a whole plate of food, except for the cornbread that I took with me(Don’t judge, I was hungry!). Wouldn’t feed it to an animal.

Have ate here many times over the years and putting reviews on Unilocal and noticed no recent reviews. Not sure why the reviews have been low unless the people visiting are expecting something like Cracker Barrel or Folks. This place is not about a waited table experience with alot of decorations. It is about some quality southern food at a reasonable price without a long wait. As with any cafeteria-style place, your mileage may vary on freshness. If you go at the start to middle of lunch rush the food will be hot and fresh. My favorite is the rotissere chicken or the turkey and dressing(Fridays). Fried okra and red potatoes are great.

I used to eat here before, years ago, not now I refuse to. The macaroni is horrible. I rather eat boxed macaroni. The green beans were the best. Rotisserie chicken was flavorful yet dry. The corn bread muffin was very hard. The banana pudding was weird at best. Good price but will not visit again

This place is very good… cheap and its clean… you get your money worth. I eat here at least 3 days a week for lunch ’ the food is fresh the vegetables are cooked to perfection. If you are looking for a well balance meal at a real good price .I also have eaten at the clairmont road location it really good too with a wider selection of food. Y

Gross. For some reason my coworker loves this place and I went with him once and it will never happen again. Go to Cracker Barrel instead.

This place is absolutely fantastic for a fast pace lunch for cheap. If you don’t have a lot of time, extremely frugal, and love country cooking, then I would definitely suggest this place. I mean, what do you have to lose? The menu changes slightly everyday, and the food is above my expectations for a pace such as this. Not to say the food is absolutely amazing, because it is most definitely not, but it is worth the price. Their country fried steak is the highlight of the restaurant, according to me, but I am sure you’ll find something there that you will absolutely love.
