Janel was very courteous as I walked in. She started to braid my twist then Karen and Kiki took over. I advise you to make an appointment although the accept walk ins. You don’t want to sit down for hours. I’m very impressed with my Senegalese twist, there’s no pain what so ever.

I came here to get Senegalese twists and I must say that I am very pleased! Janel and her staff are very professional and work great as a team to get the job done. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very positive. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend the shop and staff to others.

I would never go their again. She gave time first day. Sit around for over hour end up. it 3 people already their. The next day she gave me time appointment. Came in sat around again over hour. An then some one else came in n start my hair. Not person i call. N i didn’t even get wat i want. An they didn’t even dry my hair before left … their money hungry salon

On the scale of 1 – 10 of how satisfied I am would be a 10!!! I told the owner, Jonelle what I wanted and she gave me exactly what I asked for! And, she’s really fast! I got cornrowed tree braids and it only took 2 hours. She even took the time to cut and style and put this cooling gel on my edges which was just «out of this world».(Come on ladies… we all know how sore our scalp and edges get! Whew chile!) I will def come back again and highly recommend her! Oh, and may I add her prices are reasonable! Don’t waste your time going anywhere else!

I am so in love with my braids! The owner Janellwas very courteous from start to finish. I actually remembered her from a totally different shop and she was always down to earth. All of my braids are the same size unlike some braiding shops and she works fast!
I totally recommend this shop as she is a new owner in the old «Mannequin Hair Braiding and Weaves «shop in the Jimmy Carter/​Rockbridge plaza.
