This facility is poor. I sent a Citizen in for repair. They held the watch for a month then sent it back without the original box I sent. The woman answering the phone is nasty and nit pleasant to speak with. They also wanted to charge for a repair under warranty. Send you Citizen to Torrance California to Citizen USA. I have never dealt with a business with this ppor servie. Took over a month to get the watch returned and still missing the box. They have nothing on their website saying they wont return the original packaging.

Great and professional service. Good prices and honest. Highly recommended. My watch was really messed up and its brand new now.

Last fall a friend told me he had a Citizens diver watch that was about 15 years old and it needed to be repaired. So we did the expected and went to the Citizens site for repair. While they were more than willing to fix the watch, they said if it they didn’t have the parts they would «sell» us a new watch for ½ price.
Very nice offer but he didn’t want a new watch. At that point he continued the search and came across Hurley Roberts site. Now I begin the review of this company.
From the very beginning their customer service team was engaged. I completely all of information online including info needed for the free mailing label to send the watch. I didn’t get a chance to mail it right away, so the next week I got an a mail checking to see if I needed help or a new mailing label.
It didn’t stop there. When they received the watch, I received a confirmation and within 10 days an complete review of watch and recommended repairs. They even explain the details of when the watch was made which you can tell from the serial number.
I paid them, they fixed the watch and sent it back.
This company delivered seamless and high quality service. If you’re looking to get your watch repaired, Hurley Robert is the place to go.

I am a professional pilot, and I wear a Citizens Eco-​Drive Skyhawk watch that I have owned for more than 10 years. It was in desperate need of repair — the crystal was so scratched that I could barely read the date and digital time windows, the bezel ring was seized, and the bracelet band was marred and dirty. And did I mention — it quit running — the movement was dead, kaput! It was so bad that I considered replacing it, but then I stumbled upon Hurley Roberts via a Google search. I decided to give them a chance since this watch has been all over the world with me and the idea of extending its life to last the remainder of my flying career was appealing. I opted for a new bezel ring and a saphire crystal vs the mineral glass crystal that came with the watch. The watch movement needed service too — I thought the energy cell was shot but the Hurley technician was able to revive it with some adjustment. I received my watch in the mail today (it took a little over three weeks fro them to turn it around), and i am totally pleased with the results. The watch looks like new, and the clean up they did on the watch band is amazing. Everything works as advertised, and it is nice to have my watch looking so good. The total cost was about half of the replacement price (and 50% of that is because I opted for the saphire crystal and new bezel ring) but I couldn’t be happier. I will happily recommend them to any pilot with a Skyhawk that needs servicing.

I wanted a battery installed in my Citizen Dive watch. It would be routine to replace the gasket which cost very little and then a $ 4 battery but they wanted $ 160. These guys appear to be gouging people charging outragious prices. I am now in the process of negotiating the return of my watch without repair. I may have to go to Atlanta to retrieve it. A dive shop replaced the battery previously for $ 5. I recommend strongly not using these people for watch service unless you have money to burn.

I bought a Citizens Eco-​Drive watch from Macy’s in May. By July, the clasp had already broken. I went back to Macy’s and they told me I had to go to the Citizens website and follow their directions for sending the watch in for repair. The Citizens website showed Hurley Roberts as being an option for my repair. I emailed them and they were awesome! They sent me a shipping label to ship the watch to them. Three days later, they sent me an email saying they had received my watch and they included a price quote for the repairs. I approved the repair price (way cheaper than I expected) and I had my watch back one week later. The Citizens repair shop said 5 to 6 weeks. I then got an email from Hurley Roberts thanking me for my service. Nobody does that anymore! If you need a watch repaired, use them! You will not regret it.

Sent my watch in for repair, and got a prompt reply on the repair needed. Unfortunately the watch company no longer made the part to repair my watch. But Hurley didn’t just return my watch — they informed me of a trade in that I could do to get a new watch at a substantial discount from the watch maker through them. This worked out to babe great solution for me, and I appreciated how they worked with me to get just right replacement watch, while saving me bunches. Thanks!

Greetings; I had two Citizens Eco-​Drive dive watches repaired and serviced through Hurley Roberts Service Co. I reached out to them and explained what was wrong and what I thought was needed. The service tech told me no problem, they would check out the watches and prepare a recommendation and price for me. I was extremely pleased with the results; my wife’s dive watch and mine are like new. The price was fair and reasonable. I would go back to them again and refer them to others without hesitation.

Long turnaround time and choppy, inconsistent communication. However, the repair was executed well; my watch is finally back and working properly.

Recently broke the glass on my Citizen Skyhawk watch, and went to explore options to have it fixed. After some price hunting, I determined that the Hurley Robert Service was the most affordable, and the fastest turnaround. After reading all the reviews on Unilocal and Google, I determined that this is the course of action I wanted to take. Their website is fairly easy to navigate, and supplies you with ample descriptions. The service label they prepared is prepaid, which is convenient, especially since I was out of town and in Alaska.
My request for an email quote before sending in my watch was responded to quickly, however they informed me that since the circumstances of each repair are unique, it would require me sending it in for free. After mailing my watch to Hurley Roberts Service, they got in touch via email, and informed me of the quote, and were able to process the payment quickly via Paypal, and proceeded to work on my watch.
The biggest factor for choosing them was their ability to install the sapphire glass upgrade, compared to the normal glass I had previously on my watch. The price for this was reasonable, and the service was done quickly. When I receive my watch back, they had detailed every single action that they took on the timepiece including the paperwork for the pressure test and waterproof test.
All in all, I very much appreciate the work that you did, the speed at which it was accomplished, and the communication throughout the process. Keep up the great work!

I can only say positive remarks regarding watch repair. I will preface by saying the only reason 5 stars were not awarded was price. I thought the amount charged was high but then had nothing to compare with in fairness to both myself and Hurley. turn around time was average but they rushed back as i stated i needed for upcoming vacation. I could have bought a new watch for repair price but it has sentimental value. I suppose that is priceless

Nothing but great things to say about my service with Hurley Roberts. Fast, clear, and consistent communications along the process. I was informed when my Citizen watch was received, what the initial prognosis was, when it was shipped to Citizen, and when I would receive it back. I would use these folks again.

First, I am hard on watches. Second, I don’t go for fanciness but instead for function. So, when I needed a new strap, crystal replacement (wanted a sapphire upgrade) and o-​ring refresh I googled about for a service center. Several forums had positive stories/​experiences here. So, off I went. I completed the online RMA form, included the information as described and mailed the watch in.
Several days later (maybe 8) I get an email with proposed cost. Bad news… no sapphire upgrade available (citizen does not make one… rats) so I went with the std mineral crystal. I approved the repairs and in another 8 or 10 days my watch arrives. If I did not know better (and I had photos of the back serial #) I would have sworn it was new… again.
Their web site works, at all times I had shipping tracking information (to and from the facility), the repair quality was as expected, cost as much as expected and their communication was consistent.
I am a happy camper… and the watch will remain on my wrist for another 3 years… like, it does not really ever come off.

The service that I received was top notch and notable in way that is rarely seen in the service industry today. The turn around time from start to finish was shockingly fast in comparison to the work that had to be done. My Citizen Dive watch was pretty beat-​up and needed a complete overhaul all the way down to the band. I expected the standard 6 – 8 weeks, however, if I’m not mistaken I had it within about two weeks or less. Regardless, if I had to wait 8 weeks, it still would have been worth it. I essentially have a brand-​new watch on my wrist very close to the day I bought it. I considered buying a new watch but, after finding this service I realized that my savings would be well over $ 400 in comparison to buying a replacement. The big ticket for me was the depth pressure test that was conducted and the replacement of the gaskets and crystal. If you spent a pretty penny on your watch, you need to check out this service. The web-​site is also laid out extremely easy to understand and the process was incredibly easy as well. The hardest part (literally) for me was finding a box to ship my watch in. I am extremely satisfied with this service and will be using it again.

I ordered a new watch band for my Citezen eco drive. It arrived a few days after I placed the order. It’s exactly like the factory band that had worn out.
I had no problems with this order, and they shipped fast.
Their website and invoicing services are not as polished as a big online retailer, but that’s fine with me as I got the watch band that I couldn’t find anywhere else.

Well — I get to confirm the reviews of the two previous reviewers. And the real culprit is Citizens, BTW. Like George Bush on the Iran-​Contra Scandal — if they don’t know they should have known! Last email I got was ¹¹⁄₁₆ saying don’t call for two or three weeks. So I waited seven weeks and sent an email. That was ten days ago and no response.
All I wanted was the pins in the band replaced ($ 65 plus $ 14.65 shipping, which seems a bit high given my local watch dealers replace pins for free. Apparently, Citizens has odd pins that no one carries — or at least the three jewelers in Naples, Florida that I went to did not have them and all said the same thing.)
Officially, the repair started November 1 according to Hurleys email records. At this point just send my frigging watch back.
Between the fact that no one carries Citizen band pins and their choice to use Hurley’s Watch Repair I am sorry I bought my wife an Eco-​Drive for Christmas. It will be my last Citizen watch purchase.

This has to be the worst! Citizen told me to send my watch here. First, I feel that the repair should have been covered under warranty. The watch was 6 months old and the crystal cracked INSIDE the watch, no damage to the outside. Second, they have had my watch for 2 months now for a simple crystal repair. Each time I call they say «It will be shipped Thursday» and we’ll send you an email. Each time, I never get the email, never get a call. Each time I call, they cannot find my watch. ARGHHHHH!
