I go to the Buford location and Dr B prescribed medication that made me fall asleep at work. I almost lost my job because of it. Obviously they don’t follow HIPPA laws. They gave all of my information away to someone over the phone without my permission.

Avoid this place at all cost!!! Extremely unprofessional. I was scheduled for 12:00 apt. They took an hour to get to me the front office doesn’t communicate. I do love my counselor. I will make a complaint with the main office.

If there were a way to give negative stars on here I would. As a doctor in the healthcare industry, I would highly advise that if you are looking for help to go elsewhere. I would not take my dog to Jydes Family Clinic, and I wish someone had taken the time to post a review on Unilocal before I wasted my time taking my family here. The staff is extremely unprofessional. My family was in the middle of a crisis when I arranged our appointments, and my first session the therapist answered her phone no less than two times(both personal calls and non-emergencies), then read aloud and texted her lunch menu to her co-workers in the 30 minutes of our session, which left no appropriate time to address my concerns. Their office manager is a narcissistic, uncaring idiot who thinks if she talks long enough the customer will not see through her façade. I could repeat back to her exactly what she said then she would say it was not true. She makes up rules and protocol to «exercise her power» to appease her need to be the authority. Being a healthcare professional myself, I am well-versed in the rules, laws, and regulations involving the industry, and because the average Joe, who she is used to intimidating and lying to, does not know the difference between fact and fiction, she is accustom to getting over on people. If anything, bringing my family here has been detrimental to our well-being. Their practices are suspicious and unethical, and I hope I have prevented any other family from going through what we have. Find another practice. You’ll thank me later.

Dr. Babalakin is a nice person, and her office is very welcoming. She always tried to accommodate appointments when I first came in. However, I was on the same antidepressant for 2 years, then attempted suicide and was put in the mental hospital twice in a 2 month period — She did NOT even think I should TRY a different medication. My husband had to come to my appointment and tell her she NEEDED to change my medication before she would consider it. Also, 3 psychiatrists(one before the suicide attempt, and the other 2 from the hospitalizations) ALL thought I should be placed on a mood stabilizer. Dr. Babalakin said NO without even discussing my symptoms. The final straw for me was that I had 2 weeks of my medication left, so I called for an appointment. I was told she was booked completely full because she would be going out of town next week. Unable to get an appt. within the 2 weeks before I ran out of medication, I asked if she could call in a one or two week refill to keep me stable until I could see her. They said I would NEED to see her to get meds, but that they would tell her my predicament and she would call me. She never called. As a person in a state of severe depression and suicidal thoughts, randomly going on and off of antidepressants is NOT A GOODPLAN. My therapist said that was unacceptable and I should find someone new as my psychiatrist.
