History
Established in 2008.
With the choice of the name, Legacy Academy for Children ®, we laid the groundwork for the mission and philosophy of our organization. Your children are your legacy, hence our motto «the perfect beginning for your legacy». From the beginning, providing the best quality early care and education has been our focus. Our name and trade identity are synonymous with the highest end of the spectrum of educational facilities for children.
Meet the Manager
Ami B.
Manager
Ami has over twenty five years of experience in the classroom and management. She studied Psychology and Education at Widener University before moving to Atlanta. Ami then continued her education and completed her teaching Certificate in 2008. Ami joined Legacy Academy in November, 2003, and transferred to Legacy Academy Berkeley Lake in 2008. Ami’s passion for children and their education has lead Legacy Academy Berkeley Lake in attaining and maintaining NAEYC Accreditation, Quality Rated through Bright from the Start and Center of Excellence awards. Ami inspires high performance in her staff through facilitating and mentoring each team member. In addition Ami has been involved in the community as PTA president of one of our cluster schools, worked on the board of the Duluth Cluster Foundation and worked as a Girl Scout Leader. Ami is married with two amazing children, and enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her family.
