I have had leisure lawn for several years. Their prices are better than others, but I guess you get what you pay for. I had a problem with sod web worms and tried to talk to the office about treatment. He insisted that my shrubbery needed to be treated. By the time they understood what I wanted done, which I had to research, the lawn had gone dormant and spraying did no good. We also developed a bad case of red thread disease this year that our neighbors did not get. I believe they are more concerned with sales than knowing what our lawn needs. The technicians do what the office — who has never seen our lawn– tells them. Also note that leisure lawn is now owned by Tru– Green(chem lawn).

Our landlord had hired Leisure Lawn to treat the lawn at our rental property, as it had been not been cared for by the previous resident. About a month after we moved into our rental, our landlord had asked if we would take over the Leisure Lawn account and we said we would. This took place about 2 years ago, when Georgia had been in a severe drought and strict watering restrictions were in place. My husband had called Leisure Lawn to cancel the service, as it was not practical to continue the service, if we could not follow through with the care instructions post treatment. This is when all of our problems with Leisure Lawn began. Although my husband canceled service over the phone, wrote down the employees name and got a confirmation number, 3 months later who is in our front yard? Leisure Lawn. I instructed them that we had canceled service, but the employees opted to ignore me and continued to treat our lawn, not to mention we have a green fence as the one employee spayed our fence with the chemical. I’ll admit, I was very upset and yelled at them to get off our property. I called the office and the employee denied we canceled our service and refused to speak with me, since I was not the account holder. We refused to pay the bill. My husband called and got the run around. Although he stressed we canceled our service, we still continue to receive calls from Leisure Lawn about service. Leisure Lawn lies on there sheet they leave, explaining treatment to your property. You can never read the writing, as the employee scribbles what they did. Don’t waste your money with this company. Leisure Lawn is also known as Tru Green and a few other companies. Check the BBB.
