The noodle soup tastes good but the meat and noodle are too little for THELARGESIZE. They gave 1 meat ball cut by 4 pieces and few slices of meat. I am not even close too full for almost $ 9 noodle soup. Every phở restaurant that I have been is never like this kind of portion before.

The food here is good. It always has been. I’ve been coming here for the last 5 years and my bad for never writing a review for all of the good times that I’ve had here but today gave me the kick in the pants to finally talk about my experience. The food gets 5⁄5 because it’s just good stuff for a reasonable price. Where they lack is their service. I went to place my order with the woman behind the counter and told her 2 orders of Bun Bo Hue and pointed to their specials board on the wall. She glanced and quickly rang me up. My food came out and it was 2 orders of Phở Dac Biet. I quickly told the man serving me that my order was wrong. He didn’t speak any English and looked really confused so I walked to the counter to talk to someone. As I approached the counter, the man was able to decipher what my husband was telling him and he told another man what the issue was. The other gentlemen approached my husband and began arguing with him that we ordered 2 orders of the #1 special. My husband told him politely at least 6 times that we ordered the Bun Bo Hue special, not the phở special. The woman I originally ordered with told the second gentlemen that I came to the counter and pointed to the phở special(the picture was more towards the floor – the one I pointed at was raised on the wall). She began to argue with the gentleman after he told her that we were claiming that we did not get what we ordered. Our food was quickly taken from the table and as I was feeling okay that the mistake was being corrected, the woman proceeded to tell every employee and other customers that we pointed at the phở special and ordered that. Our correct order came out quickly but the constant chatter of us not knowing how to order continued during our meal. I am not Vietnamese and do not understand the language at all but being of Southeast Asian descent myself, I fully understood the body language and mannerisms. As a patron of this establishment, all I ask is that the person taking my order to pay attention to what I’m saying and if they don’t understand what I’m saying, to please ask. Maybe the music in the grocery store is too loud or maybe the assumption that everyone that orders in English always wants to order a #1. Or maybe it was just an off day as I’ve never had this issue before ordering this same meal. It will be a very long time before I come back to this place.

You can find Phở xe lua in the food court in Hong Kong supermarket. I ordered a small bowl of beef noodles with meat balls and it was pretty tasty. We also received complementary, hot jasmine tea. The noodles were fresh from the morning batch, so they were extremely hot. Please add the cold bean sprouts, basil, and jalapeños to bring the soup temperature down. Service with a smile and good food, please check these guys out the next time you’re in Hong Kong shopping for fermented fish.

This shop is in the Hong Kong Supermarket off of Jimmy Carter Blvd. The chichen phở soup was very good. The vegetables that came with the meal were very fresh and added more flavor to an already good bowl of phở. The broth was very flavorful. The chicken was tender and not overcooked. This was only my first visit here. I actually did not expect such a tasty meal so I was pleasantly surprised. 64⁄100
