Highly disappointed in the closing of this location. I had been on vacation for the holidays and came back a few days in to January expecting to go to a functioning gym. Nope, to my dismay there was a note on the door about the place being closed and to visit the singleton Rd location which is 15 mins from me as opposed to the 5 min drive to the Peachtree pkwy location. No email, no call, no mail correspondence… such shitty customer service
To make matters worst I can not get hold of there corporate offices or officials. The 1 — 800 # keeps asking for your address so it can direct you to the nearest club.
I called the singleton rd location to ask about canceling my membership and the young lady told me I had to pay $ 10 to get outta my contract. That is ridiculous seeing as they closed the location I preferred to attend and I am now inconvenienced by having to go to the other location.
Since I can’t get corporate on the phone I will be calling my bank to report fraudulent activity

As we were looking for another gym with more to offer, we were told by the la fitness manager that this place was closing tomorrow. No letter. No email. A small sign hung up on the door. We came today to cancel our membership — since it was going to be continued at the 25 min away location — and one staff girl was HIGHLY rude. Like we were the ones to disappear with a 2 day notice. Then we were told although we paid a yearly membership in October and had just joined in September, we were not getting a refund. And this was an offer I got as a Gwinnett county teacher. Says a lot of what they think of their customers, their staff, and teachers.
Stay away!

I joined You Fit because it was close to home and being $ 10 a month was an awesome deal. The gym is clean and pretty much empty most of the time. I gave it two stars because the managers there suck and are inexperienced. I have been a member for 2 months and they have had 3 managers. No one knows anything especially when it comes to the training sessions. I was stupid enough to sign up for the training sessions and thought I would get experienced trainers. Everyone is in their early twenties and seems too lazy to show up early to train you. I have had to reschedule each session 4 times. They are suppose to write up a routine for you weekly on the days you don’t meet. I have had one written up. After 2 months of being here and only 2 training sessions, what a disappointment. The trainers and managers are inexperienced and unprofessional in my opinion. Don’t get duped into getting the training session. That was my biggest mistake. When I tried to get a refund for the unused sessions, they made it virtually impossible for you to get a hold of a supervisor and they said «refunds are usually not issued «. What a joke! They do not care about keeping the customers happy. I think I’ll go back to the ymca. At least they didn’t change their hours on me two weeks after I joined.

I signed up for this gym thinking that it would be great, but sadly I was wrong. Ok, so first of all I signed up for a personal trainer and saw my trainer twice on the appointments I made. Then, I was scheduled to meet with him again but he did Not show up. Then, they rescheduled it for another day and I went and again he wasn’t there. Then I found out he got fired but no one told me? And if your trainer does not show up the gym says it in the contract that they will give you a free session but the gym refused to give me that. There was only one trainer left and no one told me my trainer was fired, but yet they still scheduled me with him. Then, they didn’t want to let me cancel my personal training because they said I have to stay for 3 months. But then I read through the contract and it said within 30 days from signing up if I choose to cancel I may do so. But they did not want to let me until I came in the next day and showed the contract. They are liars and schemers, I DO NOT recommend, please DO NOT pay for this gym. It’s the worse.

This gym is very nice and they take pride in being a clean and friendly environment. I just joined and I hope I will feel the same way in a few months it is reasonable as well.

I decided to go ahead and make a appointment with the trainer her name is Regina I was scheduled 5÷22÷2015 at 11am I got there early and started to work out at 10:56am as I was working out I noticed she was with a client which was fine because it wasn’t 11am yet so I continue to work out now it’s 11:15 I go to the front and asked if she’s aware of the appointment the lady at the front tells me she will let her know okay now it’s 11:20 I noticed Regina still having a long conversation with two women so I get back on the treadmill thinking she was about to wrap things up with the two Caucasian women but still she continued so I went back to the front desk while Regina was still talking and told the person at the front desk I’m no longer interested in the consultation. I understand this was something offered and it was free but make sure that your trainers want to deal with every race, Regina made it very clear that she didn’t want to deal with a African American so with that bein said I’m going back to planet fitness. To Regina if you don’t want to deal with different race of people then you need a new profession.

This gym is quiet, $ 10 for one gym or $ 20 for all youfit gyms per month. I’ve been loving it so far, it’s freezing, workers and trainers are nice, and it’s pretty quiet and empty. The only thing that they’re missing in my point of view is a swimming pool, but other than that, give it a shot!

Purple and green are the predominant colors at YouFit gyms — like some kind of zany 90’s Nickelodeon-​esque game show set (sans the slime).
Truth be told, I was reluctant to write this review — only because I selfishly wanted to keep this place a secret. One of the main perks of exercising here has been the scarce number of people getting their workout on at the same times that I’m here. That way, there’s no having to wait on others to get to that one piece of equipment. Despite my ten years on active duty in the military, I still feel very self-​conscious at gyms (so the less people here the better!).
Even so, there are tons of treadmills, ellipticals, and other cardio machines here to choose from. The treadmills even have built in TV’s (complete with cable) and cooling fans to ease the suffering that comes along with burning calories. There are numerous and varied weight machines to work the various parts of your body. A number of these weight machines (colored green) have been arranged in a circle to create a workout circuit for those looking to get a methodical, comprehensive, total-​body workout in a set amount of time (a traffic light mounted on the wall indicates when you should rest or move on to the next machine).
On the opposite side of the gym, there are free weights (dumbbells, barbells, etc.) and benches — if that’s your thing. I avoid that area, as the clientele that favor it tend to engage in loud grunting and other excessive-​testosterone induced behavior. It’s a little intimidating for average-​sized me, so I stick to the judgment-​free machine side.
My wife pays the $ 19.99/mo membership fee option which allows for her to bring a friend with her whenever she wants to exercise (either myself or one of her fellow girl friends). It also allows her to exercise at other YouFit locations — like the one on Pleasant Hill in Duluth (which is busier, but offers various classes that aren’t offered at this location). The membership is «month to month», meaning no long-​term obligation.

I love this gym! They actually care about you and your workouts. When you walk in they give you high fives to get you fired up, and they know you by name as well. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

At $ 10 per month, you’re getting a pretty new, well-​maintained gym with friendly staff and a variety of cardio and strength machines to help you break a sweat. Upon entering the space, you’ll see on your right nearly two dozen treadmills lining the perimeter, elliptical machines, a small area in the corner for stretching, and a variety of weight machines. Each cardio machine includes a tv with cable, so you can check out Food Network while you reach your target heart rate. There are green machines that make up the Express Circuit for those who need a comprehensive workout in 30 minutes. A large traffic light on the wall signals when you should rest or move on to the next machine. There are free weights on the left side of the gym and membership comes with a complimentary fitness assessment. There are showers and lockers but you cannot leave items overnight. No classes or frills, but a quality experience for the cost and the name YouFit means people of all shapes and sizes are welcome!
