History
Established in 1995.
Aquawear is a family owned business that was born out of the need for a local store to go and find the proper equipment and suits for swimmers. The emphasis was on finding a few teams to outfit and provide local customers an alternative to catalogs back then (internet today).
Staffed by former coaches and swimmers, Aquawear started on Virginia Beach Blvd near Kempsville Road in a 600 Sq. Ft. space. In 2005, Aquawear moved to its current location in Stoney Point Center at the intersection of Newtown Road and Stoney Point South. In the center of South Hampton Roads we are as we like to say «convenient for no one but accessible to everyone!».
