I got a haircut and full highlights. Cost $ 195. I was fairly happy with it. I think I will probably not go back though, because I feel like the dye they use is damaging my hair. I think I will stick to Aveda dye in the future. I am just peeved about the fact that you can’t leave a tip on your card. Changes tries to bill itself as an upscale salon, but not allowing tips on a card is so tacky and cheap. It’s terribly inconvenient and poor custom service. But I see a number of other reviewers have left the same complaint so Changes is clearly not too concerned. I guess if you do go there, be prepared and come with cash in advance(they do have an ATM that charges a $ 3 surcharge). They will give you cash for a check. They are just too cheap to pay the credit card fees on your tip.

This is THEBEST place for any kind of hair service. I have been seeing Kim V for close to 10 years… going to get a cut, color and my eyebrows waxed today! Everyone at Changes is friendly, knowledgable, helpful and they make every trip there a wonderful experience. I love having Kim who knows what I want and is probably the best hairdresser I’ve ever had. I HIGHLYRECOMMEND Changes and especially Kim V to everyone!

really polite and nice people work here. Offered me a coffee or water while I waited. Had a really good conversation with the person cutting my hair. Great haircut. Awesome experience

Looked at my child this morning and realized that she looked a bit neglected. I called Changes and they fit me in immediately. This is the second time I’ve gotten her hair cut at Changes and these ladies are beyond amazing with kids. Obviously, cutting a wiggly child’s hair is probably not super professionally rewarding OR lucrative, but you would never get that impression if you saw the celebrity treatment they give my kiddo. Krista cut my daughter’s hair today and not only did she do an amazing job, but when we were walking out, my little girl said«I love that lady.» You can’t really ask for much more than that.

Had to do an update as Chessy no longer works there. My hair was getting so damaged that I gave in and dragged myself to Changes for a trim. I have stupid curly hair and for the longest I could never figure out what to do with it. Chessy did a fantastic job and then on my second visit I met Melissa(Or was it Michelle? I’m terrible with names and I hope she forgives me for that). The point is– she is fantastic! I learned one very important thing from her that has kept my hair looking as good as it does: «Don’t touch your hair unless you have product in your hand». That has saved my life and my hair. She’s incredibly nice, personable, and when I come back– I’ll be requesting her. She gave me some suggestions for curly hair and they were the best suggestions I’ve ever gotten– my hair looks great. Still as expensive as ever.

Hands down the worst haircut I have ever had in my life. I think I would actually prefer the half head bangs my mother made me have growing up(in the 80’s). I have curly hair and know what works for me, long with a V shape in the back to keep weight so it doesn’t spring up too much. I explained this to the stylist(Daniel). He cut, it looked nothing like what I asked for… he tried again, this resulted in the loss of at least 4 inches of hair, with essentially a minor u shape/almost straight across which for curly hair results in a frizzy triangle. He asked how that was, instead of making a scene by yelling or what I felt like doing and did once I got out of the shop was CRY! I spent 8 months growing out my hair!!! Now I am back to square one… maybe even less because it’s so short. :(That is the 3rd time I’ve been to changes and certainly the LAST. I’ve never been super satisfied with their somewhat snotty service.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Chessy for a few years now and I couldn’t be happier. She always does an amazing job and she’s absolutely adorable and as nice as can be. It’s really not too expensive for how well they cut and style!

Changes is expensive. HOWEVER… it’s one of the only places that I go to get my eyebrows waxed and my haircut. I don’t trust anyone else with my hair… so I pay the extra money. The pedicures are also expensive. and they aren’t much better than a $ 15 pedi you can get at your local nail salon. Changes is a great place to get your hair did… but save your cashola for mani/pedi’s!

I go here to get my hair cut by Arlene– does great work and will work with you for what style you want and what style would be best for your hair. Little pricy but worth it. Make sure you ask what level of profession your stylist is– the higher the level the higher to price! Monday — Thursday is 10% discount if you show a student ID
