Description

Specialties

This is not another short lived trend, but instead the type of barbeque joint that will last until the coals turn cold. Three things that make a great BBQ joint.

Starting with the food, make the best hand pulled pork BBQ you can. Be traditional and carry things like baby back ribs, chicken, home-made sides, and fresh brewed sweet tea. Add fried green tomatoes and gator tail and the menu will be great.

Serve refreshing handmade drinks like devil’s lemonade in a sugar rimmed mason jar and stock the coolers with a great selection of cold beer and the bar will stay full.

Have local, regional, and nationally known artists fill the air with electric blues, bluegrass, folk, and outlaw country in a juke joint atmosphere, and you have MOJO BONES. Come by today for great BBQ in Norfolk.

Meet the Manager

Matt M.

Manager

I was raised right here in VA, the hog capital of the world. Vinegar BBQ, sticky ribs, and salt cured hams have always been a staple in my life. Whether a whole hog pig pickin’ or on a bun, BBQ is something that not only tastes great but also carries with it the memories and traditions of life in the South.

After many years in the restaurant business at the hippest nightspots, niche eateries and fancy drink bars, it was time for a change. Not another short lived trend, but instead the type of joint that will last until the coals turn cold. What better way to do that then with BBQ!
