DMi was established in 1986. We specialize in serving business IT needs. To that end we sell HP, IBM, Microsoft and many other products. We also design and manage IT infrastructures as well as monitor and provide security services.
We have concentrations in business ERP using the IBM midrange and integrated programs to complete an entire business for manufacturing, warehousing, distribution or large scale retail operations. We supply everything for that type of business to function and prosper, fulfilling all their IT needs. Our programmers use LANSA development environment and other technologies to completely tailor custom solutions.
We have a full line of managed services for Microsoft based systems including a utility model that includes everything needed under one monthly price per user. We can monitor and manage just one server or everything inside a enterprise IP network.

History
Established in 1986.
Opened our first storefront location in 1989. Produced IBM clones until the year 1997, warrantied our product based on quality for 3 years.
Became a Compaq and Ameritech Partner in 1998. Microsoft partner since 1997.
Purchased ProInfo Consultants in 2002, IBM midrange servers and ERP systems including warehouse management, EDI and shipping systems.
2008 — Moved to our current location at 406 Kays Drive, Normal, IL. 61 761
2015 — Still going strong having adopted managed IT services early in the process we have the strongest offering of services and products in the region for business.
Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
Founder of the business. Attended HS in Decatur, IL. and ISU in the 1970’s. Moved to the area in 1971 and married Nina in 1975. Interested early on in electronics and audio technology. Began working with computers in 1981 while working for a business machine provider in the area. Garnered Microsoft recognition as an engineer and HP recognition as a certified ASE. We have been working with business networks since the beginning and we aren’t resting we continue to learn new technologies and products to service our clients.
