–The American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 8 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development.

-«Mommy and Me» style classes for ages 2 and 3.

–A pre-​ballet primary program for ages 4 – 7.

–A pre-​professional division for ages 8 – 19, where training is preparation for international competitions such as Youth American Grand Prix and the International Ballet Competition, high level training programs such as the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre in New York City, professional companies, and college dance programs.

–A community ballet division for beginner to advanced level teens and adults who wish to benefit from dancing in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

–Awen Academy offers ballroom dancing for children ages 5 and up, and for adults of all ages. We teach social, such as salsa and swing dancing for beginners, as well as advanced techniques and tricks.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Abby, a native of Alabama, began her training at the age of 8 with Elaine Brown Willingham. She continued training with Mira Popovich at Birmingham Southern College, and Wes Chapman and Roger Van Fleteren at the Alabama Ballet School. During this time, she spent summers at the University of South Carolina, Birmingham Southern College, and as a scholarship student to Walnut Hill in Natick, Massachusetts. In 2001, she joined the Alabama Ballet for their 20^th anniversary season.

Abby then accepted multiple scholarships to the University of Oklahoma through the OU Scholars program and dance department. She performed with the Oklahoma Festival Ballet, the resident company of the OU School of Dance. She trained in ballroom dancing with champion latin dancers Amanda Van Satin and Darren Fernandez. In addition, she traveled to Jerez de la Frontera in Andulusia in southern Spain to study flamenco dancing with Simon «El Rubio» Zolan.
