Hi. I’m Jamie Mancini, owner of Mancini Motors, and I would like to take a few minutes to tell you about our family business.

As an automobile technician for 18 years, I occasionally bought some fix-r-upper type vehicles.

After doing the necessary repairs, I would sell them to my friends and family members.

So I decided that I could provide good, clean, inexpensive, and reliable vehicles to others as well.

So, in July of 2000, we opened Mancini Motors. Mancini Motors is located at 2440 West Main Street (Ridge Pike) in Norristown. Directly across the street from Nipper’s Restaurant and Bar.

Originally from the Boston area, he relocated to the greater Philadelphia area in 2005, settling in Chester County, (which explains his job of test driver… each car getting a 50 mile test drive, every time he takes a car home).

Be careful when you talk to Randy, he seems to be very touchy. I called about a 1-owner used vehicle I found on Autotrader, which happened to be sold, so Randy offered to show me another one, «just as nice». It was a 3-owner smoked-in car with plenty of rust inside the engine and little dents and scratches here and there, so instead of wasting my time and that of the salesman I told him I wasn’t interested. He asked why, so I told him. Nicely. For some reason he blew a gasket, accused me of being mean and having an attitude, called me a crab and just kept right on talking. Nice going, Randy. I am still in the market for a car, but chances are, I won’t be buying it from Mancini Motors.

We recently purchased a Subaru for our son from here. Great no pressure sales, Randy was awesome to deal with and Jamie was equally. The car was fairly priced and in real nice shape. It was a surprise for our son, and the first night a CEL came on. They had our son bring it right back the next day or so and took care of it, and reassured him it was fine. Our son is very happy with his new car! Great people to deal with, I would absolutely buy from them again

I had a recent good experience selling my family’s car to Mancini Motors.
One thing that impressed me from the start, was that Randy (sales) had paid real close attention to the car when I brought it in. He was immediately taking photos inside the engine compartment, etc. This is a lot more attention then it was given by others. Randy was also personable and straightforward.
When Jamie (the owner) came back from a test drive with my car, he told me that «The car ran great, and he’d like to purchase it… and he’d like to make a *fair* offer.» Given the fact that I had several offers for the car, and I knew various estimates (KBB, Edmond’s), as well as had spent time surveying Craigslist, I knew what a fair offer was, and he hit it on the mark. There was no reason to try to go back at him and get him to raise the price — it was actually what the car was worth, and I appreciate the brevity in the process. Deal done. No hassle.
Again, my experience is only selling a car to Mancini Motors, but I thought it worth posting something because it was pleasant — which is rare.
