Use to be good. Better than the one down the street but the boy at the cash counter is weird. Dude — stop hitting on your customers!

can’t believe Unilocal did NOT already have this business listed. maybe this is why is still use other search engines… and have only recently… ahem. enough on the lifestory. If you live in this area NW-Philly. This is probably the only store worth going to get you that Indian grocery fix. it gets a «4.9» star rating only because i’ve been to a «grander» one in Orlando. and that place deserves a 5(it’s got everything you don’t even need!) but, simply put it’s the best one i’ve stepped inside in philadelphia! From: the availability of the commonly desired packed items to Indian produce — chillies/spices/flour etc.(They have a selection of everything. NOT the largest or the most diverse — but they have it all — and if you place an order for something specific– they’ll get some of it for you in their next shipment!) To the: constantly updated playlist/music in the store –if it’s not a new song, at least it’s a good old classic. To the: processed foods /frozen dinners/instant ready meals and milk or Dahi — not yogurt but actual Dahi! to the: me ending up talking at the counter To the: Specials, and savings(because they will family packs and large pack for items — most other places make money on the individual packs) To the: Fresh made TASTY snacks like samosas, and deserts im afraid if more people come here the place might get a lot more customers and i might not get my occasional fix of the items they dont stock up on. but, it definitely deserves to be listed… oh well. excellent place, excellent staff(not plastic staff. like people, who if you want — will talk! participate in an actual conversation — feels refreshing)
