I’ve been here twice! I really like it. French gel manicure in about 45 min for $ 30!!! They’re super nice and my nails last pretty long– a good month and some change before I have to re-​do it again.
Even if they are busy they move pretty quickly. If you live in this area, def come here. I like this place better than the ones in philly.

This is the second review I’m writing for unique nails, and unfortunately it’s not another good one. My step daughter and I went in tonight to get pedicures, we did NOT get a hello, we got a «what you need?» So I said 2 pedicures and the lady pointed for us to sit down in the pedicure chairs she did not say one word the whole time, this was my second time going there since it’s under new ownership and it will be my last, I’m very disappointed in the lack of friendliness of the staff.

This used to be our go-​to place in KOP, but as they’ve added different staff over the last 5 or so years, the quality has definitely gone down hill. They are inconsistent at best. My daughter and I went in for gel manis & pedis right b/​f leaving for vaca, and the young girl completely messed up my gel mani. Not only did she miss entire spots, but it actually started chipping within a day. How does that even happen? Gels should last weeks. As for the pedi, I usually get french, and the girl was ill-​equipped to do that as well. After giving them too many chances, we decided we will be taking our business elsewhere for good.

My bffski, Amy A., has been coming here for a very long time and has always enjoyed her experiences at the salon. So obviously, when we were going away on vacation, we decided to get our nails done together here.
Unique Nails seems to specialize in this SNS nail polish job. It seems very good for your nails, and Amy’s nails have never chipped or broken off once. It’s also very expensive, twice as much as getting a gel manicure.
Since that is not in the budget for me, I stuck with a gel mani and regular pedi. The pedicure was very good, and they had more services than my regular place for about the same price! They exfoliated, massaged, and even did hot stones on my legs. While I was in the chair, I also noticed a sign that advertised free beverages? However, I had a long day ahead of me and decided not to asks. I’m a terrible Unilocaler, I’m sorry I didn’t think to ask just to give you more information.
The manicure was about the same as most that I’ve received. They had an expansive selection of gel polish to choose from, it was almost overwhelming. A gentleman did my nails, and he did a really great job shaping them — probably the most pleased I’ve ever been about the shape, and he was super quick about it. I had zero troubles with my nails for about 1.5 weeks after the manicure. Since I work in a restaurant, using my hands and washing my hands every five seconds, my nails are usually a mess well before the typical 2 weeks that gel is supposed to last.
I would definitely go back to Unique Nails. For about $ 50, a very reasonable price, I received a great spa pedicure and gel manicure. Everyone was very professional and considerate. They even have a frequent buyer card, where you receive $ 5 (I believe?) off every 10 visits. It’s right off of Egypt Rd, in front of Aldi and Planet Fitness, so it’s very easy to find and find parking.

I’ve been going to this salon off and on for a few years. However, since the new management came it, it’s been my go-​to place.
I love the new SNS product. It lasts long and it’s high quality, I’m kind of lazy and typically go and extra week or two longer than recommended on a fill, but they still hold up well. No chips, cracks, etc.
The new manager is friendly and ensures that you are having a positive experience.
I will continue to go there. Finally found my nail salon home!

Great spot. They give an awesome gel manicure. I had the guy at the salon. His chair is the first one on the right. Will definitely go back again. Very clean and paid a lot of attention to my nails and cuticles.

Horrible. Seriously horrible customer service. I walked in a little before 3 today and as I was walking in I noted that they close at 4. So I figured there was plenty of time for a basic pedi. I walked in and stopped because I got a look like,“Who the he** are you?”. No one said anything so I asked,“Can I get a pedicure, please?” And all I got in response was,“I’m closing early today.” No sorry. No, this isn’t our normal schedule. No nothing. So I said Ok and turned around and left. I will never be back.

I got the BEST pedicure of my life. I got the Herbal Extra Pedicure. It was fantastic decision. I was in the pure relaxation mode. I would recommend anybody, guys or gals, to this place

I can’t say enough positive things about Unique Nails– this was my first time trying this place out since they changed owners. First, the pedicure was one of best pedicures I’ve had– was very extensive. Kim was very attentive and professional. Also got gel nails and am really happy with the results. The owner, Veronica was walking around and making sure everyone was comfortable and being taken of. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I will definitely be back again.

Great service. Lots of nail colors! Speedy and friendly ladies. They carry this new powder type called SNS for your nails. Better than acrylic they say! Gonna b my new nail shop :)

Not from the area. My boyfriend lives near here. Walked in on a Friday (holiday weekend) at 3 and was taken right away. Very clean and decorated so cute. Had the spa pedicure and it was pure heaven. Only other time I had one like this is when I paid $ 80 at an exclusive spa when traveling
Loved the products they use. Good quality stuff and left me feeling so great. Definitely upgrade to the SPA pedicure. A++ in my book all around for what I had done

I recently found out it was under a new owner so i had decided to give it another try. The previous owner wasn’t very good and the place was dumpy. Since then, the place has been completely renovated! From new floors to chairs… the works! Its very clean. And veronica did an amazing job. Would def. try it again.

I was severely disappointed by the lack of care I was given from the moment I walked in. I called ahead to make sure they had an opening, they did, so I came in. There were no other customers, and two people working. I felt so unwelcome as soon as I walked in, but let them know that I came recommended by my mother, who is a frequent client of theirs. I came to get a refill and gel manicure which I was told by my mother, who gets the same every two weeks, was $ 25, I was charged 30. Okay, big deal, so on to quality. my girlfriend, who isn’t even a licensed nail technician, who has never worked as a technician, did a better job then the man who did mine. He left huge gaps between my nails and the polish. when I had asked for only one nailed to be filed down, he filed all of them down and reshaped them. Not what I asked for. I felt that he was literally rushing my manicure as if they had someone important coming in. he was looking everywhere Cherway but at what he was doing, watching TV, looking other places, not even interacting. So, needless to say, the quality matched the personality. It sucks because their hours and their location are extremely convenient for me, but first impressions are unfortunately permanent. I may try again later with different technicians, but for the price, it was absolutely worthless.

stopped in with no appt, had to wait an hour, Kevin yelled at me and messed up my nails. let me tell you he didn’t clean them up and they aren’t even. terrible service and will never come here again. star rating –5. definitely going to kimberton nails next time.

There isn’t generally a long wait here, so you don’t need an appointment. If you want gel, their stations don’t have the UV built in. Also, if you need a design, make sure to ask for Brandon — he is amazing! He literally puts works of art on your fingers. Most of the rest of the staff are good, though there are a few who I try to avoid… all very sweet, though. In this area, this is definitely my go to place.

Randomly stopped in on a Sunday, no appointment and I was able to be waited on immediately. I got a full set of pink/​white, and let me just tell you… best job I have ever seen. It was like he was on a mission to do the best full set he’s ever done in his life and he succeeded!!! The technician took EXTRA time to work with my small nails and make sure they looked as natural as possible. Not only was his workmanship great, but he was very friendly and kept conversation the whole time. He gave me the UV topcoat at no extra charge and a little hand massage at the end, so nice!
Best part about the whole experience was when I went up to pay it was only $ 45.00!!! The nail salon I usually frequent charges @ least $ 70 for the pink/​white and you have to pay extra for the other nice touches. My nails look great and I will definitely be back!!!
