History

Established in 2014.

Acelleron Maternal Health & Wellness is a premier pregnancy and parenting wellness center focused on providing the resources and supportive community parents need to become empowered in the process of growing their family.

Our baby was born on March 1, 2014, when Acelleron Medical Products, your premier breast pump provider, acquired Maternal Health & Fitness to form Acelleron Maternal Health & Wellness. This new division of Acelleron will allow both companies to offer a wider array of services to their clients with a vision of providing a full range of resources for pregnant women and families.

Meet the Manager

Suzy V.

Manager

Acelleron hired Suzanne «Suzy» Vecchi, former owner of Maternal Health & Fitness, as Director of Maternal Wellness. In this role, Suzy will oversee the maternal wellness operations of Acelleron in North Andover. Suzy is an experienced business owner and operations manager, certified HypnoBirthing® Practitioner Childbirth Educator, and certified group fitness and yoga instructor. Suzy currently serves as a board member for Woodhouse Academy, a private day school in Connecticut and prior to owning her own business, Suzy had 11 years of experience in financial services and regulatory administration for top mutual fund companies. She is a graduate of Babson College.

Acelleron has made a huge impact on my pregnancy. I am healthier, more informed, and empowered thanks to the top notch classes they offer and support they provide. It is clear they are passionate about their mission. Not only are they excellent at educating and supporting families, they do so in a very welcoming and nonjudgmental fashion. It is a place for all families to come, learn, exercise, relax, and bond.

I can’t even begin to say how instrumental Acelleron has been to a happy pregnancy and postpartum period for me. I started coming to the prenatal fitness classes at the beginning of my second trimester and loved them! Not only is it a great workout tailored specifically to pregnancy but it is also a wonderful place to connect with other pregnant women. This was an amazing support system for me as a first time mom. I also took the hypnobirthing class with Suzy and learned so many valuable tools for getting through labor naturally. I had a beautiful birth and didn’t even consider asking for pain medication. I used so many of the tools I learned in my hypno birthing class to achieve this. It was such a positive experience and I am looking forward to giving birth again in the future. Now as a new mom I enjoy coming to the postnatal fitness classes that offer a huge benefit for both myself and my son. I also look forward to coming to new moms group each week. It is such an amazing support system! I’ve taken multiple classes from infant massage to essential oils and loved every one. The facilities are beautiful and immaculate. I feel so at home there and I have all the things I need to take care of my baby while outside of the home. In my opinion the best part about Acelleron is the staff. From my first time there they all learned my name and were truly invested and caring for me during my pregnancy. They were always there to offer support or advice and encouragement. Now my son and I are there multiple times a week and look forward to our visits immensely. For any mom or mom to be Acelleron is an amazing place to come and be surrounded by women who truly care for you and your child, you will leave feeling loved and supported!

Great company with friendly & helpful staff. They offer many products from nebulizers to breast pumps to light therapy boxes and now also offer Afflovests. I ordered a light box from them & from start to finish I had a very pleasurable experience. Highly recommended!

What a cool little place! I tried my first prenatal yoga class here. I do my own practice in the studio and take regular classes every week, but at 8.5 months pregnant I decided I needed to try a prenatal class at least.
This place is all about community. It’s so much more than yoga. They offer postnatal classes, prenatal, babysitting, lactation consultations, breast pump ordering and assistance, new mom groups and a little boutique. It’s adorable and a place I hope to find myself on occasion if I need assistant navigating new mom-​ness. I’ll definitely be back for yoga and hopefully when he’s born postnatal as well.

I’m not sure what I would have done had I not discovered Acelleron Maternal Health & Wellness midway through my pregnancy. Suzy, Mari, and Meg are wonderful and are truly invested in making sure every mom and mom-​to-​be has a wonderful experience, and it’s been a fantastic way to meet new moms in the area. The prenatal fitness classes focus not only on physical fitness, but also emotional wellness as the moms-​to-​be prepare for the birthing experience. Since having my first child in August 2014, I find I spend more time at Acelleron Maternal Health & Wellness than ever before! From the postnatal fitness classes (where you can bring your baby!) to the group «Lactation Lounge» to the Mommy Meet-​Ups, I’ve found support in every uncertain aspect of being a new mom. Not to mention, their space is amazing! It is clean, warm and relaxing — it rivals a luxurious spa! I can’t recommend the facilities, classes, workshops and people at Acelleron Maternal Health & Wellness enough.
