My favorite liquor store in the Andover/​Lawrence area, and i feel i should mention since i don’t drink wine or hard alcohol all i’m reviewing here is the beer selection and the staff. While it’s not the largest selection in the area they definitely always have something i want. They also seem to have a lot of the more hard to find stuff that you don’t normally see even at places like andover liquors. Prices are very reasonable, i actually saw Duvel triple hop here for i want to say 15.99, which is a hell of a lot cheaper than anywhere else (shit i shouldn’t have said this, don’t go here and buy that because i didn’t think to grab it). I’ve dealt with most of the staff here and they are all extremely helpful, (the guy with the accent, and the guy with the long hair are always willing to hangout and talk beer for a few moments which is always cool). So if you’re sick of the people at Beer and Wine at the Andovers touting about how good their store is, or if you’re sick of seeing the same dusty crap at Andover Liquors every time you go stop in here.

The wine selection is OK, but I personally put no stock whatsoever in their «Den Rock Recommends» tag. I’ve bought a couple of bottles with that tag that tasted like paint thinner strained through a dirty sweat sock. The liquor selection is OK. I will say that they keep a few interesting liquor selections up near the cash register — like Flor de Cana rum which is hard to find in this area. The staff is solid. Generally, I just shop here for convenience — it’s closer to where I live. For better wines, I go out to winesense in Andover and for a better liquor selection (and prices) I go to Salem, NH. I do stop by every now and then to see if they have anything interesting in the rotating specialty selection near the cash register.
