Amazing and caring dentist! He will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with the service. I did a bonding and whitening on my teeth and I am very satisfied with the service that was provided. I would recommend him and his team to anyone.

I’m not from Jersey so it’s hard to gauge what to expect as standard level of care. I think it’s fair to call this experience disappointing. The office staff and Dr. Shyne were very nice. I especially appreciate that they fit me in on the same day I called! However in the final analysis — I went in for pain and came out with pain. Dr. Shyne took two x-​rays, explained two options and sent me off with two prescriptions. Before leaving he apologized for not being able to do anything. The visit was about 20 minutes and the bill came to over $ 200. Yes I have insurance and yes it’s reasonable to charge more for emergency visits. However if I’m being charged for treatment I think it’s reasonable to expect a patient will actually receive treatment. Prescriptions shouldn’t count for treatment. In the back of my mind this visit was more of a quick money transaction more than dental care. I was hoping this nice place would be the place for me — but still looking and still feeling pain.

I stopped going to ALL dentists years ago after a few very bad novocaine-​less experiences that I had when I was young. (they were like something out of the Marathon Man movie. Is it safe? Is it safe?) Years later a tooth was really bothering me it seemed my homecare wasn’t working. The potions I picked up from drug stores weren’t stopping the pain. And I wasn’t going to Home Depot to buy a small drill and plastic filler. (although it did cross my mind) I tried holding off a trip to a dentist but the pain was getting worse I knew I needed a dentist ASAP. Luckily a family friend recommended Dr. Shyne. She told me how gentle and caring he and his staff were. I made an appointment and Dr, Shyne fixed the problem tooth and also took care of my other neglected choppers.
I now actually look forward to going to the dentist… to Dr. Shyne for my regularly scheduled checkups. I can’t say enough about him. If it wasn’t for him and his staff I would probably have been toothless by now. (and eating creamed corn) The office is not a massive cold factory feeling place it is a nice sized almost cozy office that has the latest technologies and tools. (Dr. Shyne is quite the techno geek)
If you have not been to a dentist for a while or if you are afraid of dentists you MUST go to Dr. Shyne. He treats you like a baby if he sees fear in your eye. (exactly what this 6 foot 6 inch 300 pound baby needs) He is also not judgmental he didn’t mock or scold me for not going to a dentist in… 10+ years. (he did let me know that I should have but at least he didn’t call me a fool) He tells you everything he is about to do to you and always asks if you feel any pain. (which I NEVER feel)
I can’t recommend or thank him enough!

I have been through a number of Dentists and Syne is the best. He absolutely cares about his patients, gentle and ensures you are comfortable at all times. His staff is spot on and I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Shyne is a very caring individual and very patient. I just got veneers and they have the Hollywood smile, what a great job!!! He is the best.
Dr. Shyne also made a great night guard for my teeth grinding and it works!!! Also had bleaching trays made and they worked so great.

Well, in addition to the 2 positive reviews here, I also saw other sites that raved about Dr. Shyne and staff, especially Deanna. I’ve stalled on getting dental work done for a while, but upon going here, I was duly impressed by the friendly, knowledgeable, and caring staff — from start to finish. The service was impeccable, and the quality of his work is excellent. I will continue to go here as I’ve never had such a positive experience with a dentist.
