The Right Touch Day Spa

The Right Touch Day Spa is the only place I will go for my massage! Everyone from the front desk to the massage therapists are friendly and caring and it is a very clean and relaxing environment. They have a steam shower and sauna and I always leave feeling so much better. I highly recommend!

The fact that they no longer do mani-pedi’s is problamatic enough for me that I have stopped getting massages there. I loved going for a full day of pampering. Now I have to go to 2 places.

Clean, nice peaceful vibe, LOVE the fact you get slippers and a robe to lounge about. Massage tables that can be moved up/​down and angled make a HUGE difference in relieving pressure, which allows for maximum relaxation while talented hands work you over. I had a 1.5 with Jane and was very impressed, great pressure, regular (but not disruptive) check in’s about pressure. I felt several inches taller when I left her room. The sauna is cute and warm, but not HOT, perhaps because it was early in the day, but the steam shower was AMAZING. I plan to go again, and will be treating my mom and sister the next time they visit. Recommend it as THE SPOT for a ladies day, great place to relax.

Nice selection of facials. I go for the deep cleanse facial and have had a few series of glycolic peels here. Always good results.

I’ve been coming here off and on for many years and have always had a very nice experience. I love the sauna before a massage to loosen up the body too!
A few months ago I had a massage with Tiffany and hands down, it was the best I’ve ever had here. She is now the person that I request every time I book. There are times when I have had a spot bothering me and she knows how to work that area as well as the other areas that are contributing to the issue. I appreciate her knowledge and expertise and how professional and kind she is. I was immediately comfortable with her and that really adds to the experience for me.

OMG. Susan is the best yet at The Right Touch Day Spa. I met with her Sunday, for a therapeutic massage $ 75.00 for 60 minutes, with direction towards lower back and legs.
I am on the road a lot. ALOT. And those airplane folding chairs that pass for seats are a killer. After 15 straight weeks I needed relief.
Relief and relaxation, the spa is lovely clean and quiet. Susan literally knew which buttons to press. I left with a list of stretches to do daily and a swing in my step that had been missing for quite awhile. I rebooked with her before I left the building.
Great pricing and hours. Book now or continue to be in pain.

I visited this beautiful spa and I had a 1 hour massage that was amazing and I also enjoyed an anti aging facial that was also, amazing. This spa is beautiful and clean and very peaceful. After filling out my paperwork, I changed into my robe and slippers and relaxed in the lounge with a nice cup of tea and read my book. My therapist was on time and I received my massage first. After my service she gave me a much needed glass of lemon water and I sat and waited for my esthetician to arrive. She was on time as well and was very pleasant and professional. I enjoyed my services so much, i can’t wait to go again. Next time i go, i will make time to use the sauna and steam. I especially enjoy the tea and snacks that are out for clients and I feel its a nice touch. I went home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I can’t wait to do this again.

L. O. V. E. I used to live down the road from this place and now that I moved further away I go here more! The massages are great but what keeps me coming back is the salon. I have been for a while trying to find a stylist like the one I had when I lived in NH but no one stood out. That was until I came here. Lauren is phenomenal!!! I get in moods and decide to chop off my hair and then instantly regret it. Well I am now trying to grow out my hair and also get it to a color that I like. When I asked her what she thought I should do with my hair we were on the same page! Pedi’s are a little more than at other places, but so worth it as they take their time and not try to kill your feet.

I have been seeing Diana for a few years now and she is fantastic! I have been through many different hair colors, highlights and hair cuts with Diana :) She is very honest about what she thinks will work and look the best with your face and lifestyle. She is very sweet with a quick sense of humor. Technically, Diana knows what she is doing and does is perfect. The space itself is well maintained and nicely decorated. They always offer beverages, have plenty of reading material and fairly decent music playing. The front desk staff are always pleasant and very helpful. I have recommended many friends to this salon/​spa.

After a long winter season of injury and much sitting (in the fetal position) on the sidelines… I needed a rolling-​pin-​to-​the-​back resolution, which came in the form of a 90-​minute therapeutic massage ($ 103). After filling out my paperwork (essentially drawing a thick-​lined circle around the human outline to indicate that my back and neck were my worst enemy), I was lead to the women’s locker area. It’s a small space, but is well-​maintained and plenty of room for a couple of people to change in preparation for divinity.
Once be-​robe-​thed, I headed towards the door labeled for the spa area. What a surprise when that door opens! A few people were dotted around the large TWO-​FLOOR space. Tuffted chairs, ottomans, chaise lounges (essentially would expece CIrce’s guest lounge to appear). Tea and light snacky things were at the front of the room, and gentle Enya-​esque sounds whispered through the loft. Shortly after my arrival I was greeted by my masseuse, Ban, and was seen to my table.
When I met Ban, she seemed to have two hands (like any other mortal). But over the course of the massage she seemed to somehow develop the ability to sprout additional limbs to the purposes of kneading and applying pressure (pretty sure the count was up to eight, at one point). I mean this is the most positive way: no one has ever touched my neck like that. The caressed the rations of stress away from my neck and shoulders, down my arms, and out through my fingertips.
Time leaped forward and my ninety minutes were through in a flash. I thanked Ban, took a quick sauna/​shower, and then paid and departed (shaking like a timid leaf and thankful that I had only a short drive back home). Reasonable prices, a unique space, and very talented hands!

I have had several massages in the past. Some were good and others not so good. A few years ago I booked a massage Easter weekend. The prices were extremely reasonable compared to other spas. I was told the only available therapist was KEN. I was concerned to have a male but decided he deserved clients just as much as the women therapists. I am so glad I made my appointment with him because WOW, the best massage I have ever had. It was not uncomfortable as I thought it may have been. KEN was professional and skilled and I am now a loyal KEN client. Do yourself a favor and give it a shot!

I have always been a little scared of getting a facial because I have seen friends breakout or look as if they got a terrible sun burn. I went to the Right Touch and received a «classic facial» from Kim. it was amazing. Not only was it relaxing and refreshing, my face just felt smooth & hydrated. No breakouts, no red skin :) I will definitely make facials a part of my routine. Thank you Kim!

I love spas… I make them a part of my regular routine, and have been to many spas across the country. I give this spa 3 stars in recognition of what it is… a stand-​alone spa on a business stretch of a small New England highway. If this was a spa in a fancy hotel, it would be lucky to get two stars. It is clear that someone (some people?) put a lot of time, money and thought into making this place look and feel classy — a little oasis on Rt. 1. The walls are done so nicely, and the lounge is well appointed, if a little strangely decorated (think traditional, overstuffed, rounded forest green armchair next to a giant crystal) Some of the details seem to have lost their luster, for instance, the nice metal basket in the shower that holds the shampoos and conditioners was completely rusted, as were the brackets that hold it to the wall. That was kind of gross. Also, the products themselves (just labelled «shampoo» and «conditioner») seemed to be cheap. This surprised me as they sell a lot of products and spa showers are a great place to market the products you push.
The people at the front desk were very nice, and I was brought back to the locker room with a bag with a robe, slippers and key. I had to leave to go back to the front desk to check the time to make sure I had enough time to shower before my massage. I went to get undressed, and noticed that, even though there were only about 5 other people in the spa, I had been given a locker that was wedged into a corner and very difficult to maneuver. I would think they would only give that locker (#13!) as a last option. I went into the shower, and noticed it had a steam function. I wished that my attendant had showed me how to use it. I consider myself a fairly intelligent person, and experienced with spa technology, but could not figure it out. Also, when I called to make the appointment, I had wanted to book a hydrotherapy treatment but was told the tubs were broken. Two weeks later, right before my appointment, I asked again — still broken. At this point, I, as a business owner, would have offered the client a coupon or special rate when it was fixed, but that did not happen.
The other strange thing about this spa was the signage. Inside the showers and changing areas were signs with multiple bullet points telling you what to do, how to clean up, etc. «You may put your dirty towels in the basket under the sink.» I think I could have figured that out, and if I didn’t, it would take an attendant exactly two seconds to scoop up a towel and throw it in there. There was also a sign asking us to limit towel use. Now, if this was a «green spa,» I could understand this. But from a spa that advertises a «rain shower massage» where multiple shower heads pour down on you for an hour, they have a lot of balls asking their customers to be mindful of making too much laundry. The net effect of these signs was that I felt kind of chastised — more like a gym locker room feel than a spa. Definitely took away from the «pampered» feeling. Another spa customer actually asked me what she was supposed to do with her robe, since there wasn’t a specific sign and she didn’t want to do it «wrong.»
Again, the waiting lounge was nice… but more signs about how to clean up after yourself (sigh). Then the massage. I would not recommend the rain shower massage. I was placed on a strange table with a sheet over it. The table had a channel around it for the water, with a drain at the foot. With no head hole, and a small pillow, my neck and back were in a very bad position and it was very uncomfortable. I also had to hold my head a certain way to keep the water from being in my mouth and nose. Also, the effect of having the sheet over the table made all the oils pool at the lowest points, where my hands were resting in the drainage channel. This gave my hands this really gross, oily feeling. The massage itself was great, long and easy — it would have been very relaxing if I hadn’t been so uncomfortable. There was also a lot of guilt for the gratuitous water use (especially after seeing the sign in the bathroom!)
After the massage, the therapist took me to the «sauna» which was not hot, so I left. Like another reviewer noted, I was also not told that tips need to be cash or check until I went to pay. I was lucky to have it.
I am nitpicking in this review so people really know what they are walking into, but I do feel like this is a nice place, and I hope to go back. It is not a world-​class experience, and I think they could really improve the way they interact with customers, but it is the best of what’s around.
Oh, and for Facebook Users, know that they put out a LOT of non-​business content on their FB page, so if you «like» them, be prepared to get the owner’s new-​agey whims, quotes, blood drive info and sports updates?!? along with the spa stuff. No thank you!

I went to the right touch about 3 days ago (now I call it the wrong touch) for a facial and massage. The massage with Luanne was great! The facial felt nice, but during it my skin became extremely hot… I had a horrible reaction to something they used on my face. I broke out in a full blown rash and blotches all over my face. Nothing is working to help and it burns. I called the spa and they did nothing to help me. They Didn’t offer to even look at my rash nor did they offer any suggestions to fix it. I am disgusted with the way they handled this and will NEVER go back there again. I have to now go see a dermatologist.

Love this spa. Its so relaxing. The waiting area is perfect to get you prepared for your relaxing massage. The staff is very professional. I have had the Hot stone massage, the deep tissue massage, the swedish massage, and the facials. All the time i am pleased with my experience.

I like to treat myself to a massage every few months, I take all my girlfriends here for birthdays. Recently had a GIRLS SPA DAY. Highly reccommend it, They accommodated 7 of us and it was the most relaxing day, Had the Mocha Chip wrap and hour massages, It is a relaxing atmosphere and you always feel refreshed when you leave. And most of all THEY ARE CLEAN!!!

Love the spa waiting area. Tea and trail mix, kinda dark. I prefer solid colors to the patterns as far as what I find relaxing but that’s just me. Staff is great. I had a rain shower mssage, pumpkin spice pedicure, and milk and honey hydrotherapy bath. Everything was great. They sell nice candles and products. Loses a point for having to tip in cash. I wasn’t told this over the phone.

I first went to The Right Touch a few years ago for a girl’s spa day with my Mom and Sister, and got a body scrub of some sort — it was great! Since then, I’ve brnached out and gotten facials, eyebrow waxes and haircuts here, all with great results. The girls at the front desk as pleasant, even when they put you on hold, and the staff is pretty much universally excellent. I’ve been going to Diana pretty consistently for my hair for about a year now, and she is great — listens to what you want, makes suggestions but isn’t overbearing about pushing the products. I really can’t recommend this place highly enough — I love coming here!

My friend brought me and another friend here this weekend and we loved it. Two of us got the hour long messages and our other friend got an hour long facial. We all left so relaxed. there is an intimate lounge to wait for your turn and afterward you can spend as much time as you like in there just unwinding. they had tea and little snacks plus a bunch of magazines to flip threw. What a treat.
I don ‘t know about the cost because my friend treated us. But she has been there a few times before so she knew what she was paying for and seemed happy to do it.

Very nice spa. I thoroghly enjoyed my experience here. I called last minute on a saturday for any open massage appointments for the day and they were able to squeeze me in at 5 pm. They gave me a robe and sandles to change in to with all my belongings in a locker. I was then able to spend a few minutes in the serene spa lounge. My deep tissue massage was great. The prices are reasonable for massages, I haven’t compared any of their other prices.
