Gave a lecture there on Civil War medicine. Turnout was not all that great. Barbara the organizer was super gracious and warm and friendly. They offer some great programs for the public. Public should take more advantage of the offerings this public facility has.

My daughter and I have been here twice for the story time. The lady who does the story time is very sweet, however, I wish she would choose more engaging books for little ones such as big books or books with puppets. The people who work at the checkout desk are very unfriendly and have no patience with small children. I tried to sign my 2 year old up for a library card and the woman took FOREVER, asking me to repeat my phone number and email address several times. The whole time I was trying to keep my 2 year old from running off and playing on the computers. I finally just gave up and walked out because my child had a meltdown. Then I get home and realize I left my drivers license there. Really wish the lady had come after me to give it to me but that was asking too much I suppose. Not a kid friendly library at all.

My daughter loves this library and its very close to home. There is always a great selection of DVD’s and weekly events for kids. Did I mention great hours too mon tue thur 10 — 9 wed fri 10 — 6
