I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. It was always a treat to come shopping at pathmark with my parents and then get pizza for lunch :) Now, pathmark is closed, but Sorrento still stands! It’s a great, low key, pizza joint that actually has so much more, too. But I’m here for the thin crispy crust pizza with always on point gooey cheese in a nice thin layer. The sauce is well done with just the right herbs. I don’t really understand some of the low reviews… this is LI pizza at its best. Large pie is $ 13.95. Regular slice is 2.50. Yum!

Sucks, big time! Slice is marginal at best, chicken parm tastes nasty, and soups are from cans. Go across the street to Baldwin Pizza. Better slices, wings, pasta dishes, and homemade soups. See for yourself.

Recently moved to the Baldwin area and I’ve been trying various places for the best pizza, and this place is definitely a good choice. The manager is a great guy, the workers are friendly, and(most importantly) their pizza is DELICIOUS. Crispy, great sauce, and no overly thick crust. At the very least worth a shot if you appreciate good sauce.

Just visited again today for lunch. So many new items, it’s not just pizza any more. Seafood, five kinds of soup(including tortellini with brodo; pasta fagioli; lobster shrimp), fantasy artichoke, several chicken dishes and on and on and on. The service is AMAZING. I was treated like family! I had the tortellini soup, garlic knots and spaghetti with meatballs. The owner takes time to explain every ingredient and recommend things he thinks you might like. Thank you Sorrento!

Our family loves Sorrento Pizza. Tasty pizza and specials like pepperoni rolls. Easy to park here, really nice staff and the prices are better than the competition. We’re on our way to pick up two pies right now.

Since i was a kid I used to come here. Over the years the quality of food has just gone down. I stopped by today to see if it has improved… Yeah, i probably won’t be back. I had a chicken marsala slice and it was just blah… no flavor. There are a few pizza shops within the area. Chances are their slices will taste better. Its just sad for me to see a place i used to enjoy coming to… now serving mediocre food. Sure its edible but for the money I’ve certainly had better. I am surprised they are still in business but I guess it might have to do with location… The High School and Grocery store is right there. People are lazy these days and…
