When we first started going when they opened it was great! Now, not so much. We were going about once a week and the last three times has just been a steady decline. The nachos are overpriced for a pile of chips with barely any toppings, the enchiladas were dry tortillas with chicken and about two tablespoons of sauce. So disappointed that a locally owned little place with great potential has failed.

I will say this… The staff was nice and helpful. The food… well, if you are looking for real Comida Mexicana or even a decent Southwest style take on it(TexMex), this is not it. Not even close.

Portions were generous and service fast and friendly… but the pork al pastor burrito was flavorless. I even opened it up to get rid of the lettuce tomato nonsense and get down to the meat and cheese. Bland. I can make more flavorful pork at home. Two minutes away from home but probably won’t be back.

Simple menu but very good. Have been here 6 times since opened, all for lunch. Sopailla and burritos are what we normally get.

Very disappointed by the time I got home 4 miles down road the chips were so soggy I could not eat them. when went back to suggest putting them in a bag not in with hot food was told THANKS, and I heard the girl say under her breath to mind my business.

While the burrito filled with rice beans jalapenos lettuce and some shredded pork wasn’t my favorite for ten dollars on first visit… The lengua street taco and pastor? Were both good. Nicely warmed tortilla w cilantro n onions… Yum, finally authentic Mexican food in north bend withou t all of the restaurant frills!!! If they only cooked pastor on a spit and served late at night outdoors I would have ultimate praise and fond memories of my times in Mexico! Viva Rio Bravo!!!

I hate do give this place such a bad review, but the chicken meat they serve is just repulsive. It was by far the worst quality chicken I’ve ever been served(mostly connective tissue/skin/dark meat). Maybe some people like it that way, but I thought it was pretty gross.

We live in NB and have been waiting for Broc & company to get Rio Bravo up and running. It was worth the wait. Wife and I dropped by for a late lunch and I had a dream come true. A totally legit taco lengua in North Bend! Next time its gonna be breakfast. Muchas gracias for bringing the real deal to town.

As a native New Mexican, I was excited when I heard about Rio Bravo as it’s impossible to find true New Mexican food outside the state. The place has quite a few kinks to work out with staffing and food shortages but I’m not particularly concerned with those hiccups this soon after opening. I ordered a pork al pastor stuffed sopapilla with red and green chile. The sopapillas are not, in any way, like the light, pillowy authentic New Mexican sopapilla and are more of a fry bread. Their own menu describes them as fry bread so, I don’t know why they’re calling them sopapillas. The bread was kind of rubbery by the time I got it home but after a 30 minute wait for my food and a 5 minute drive home, I wasn’t surprised. The pork al pastor was okay but nothing I would order again. The red chile was tasty but a little on the mild side, while the green tasted nothing like Hatch green chile and something I could only describe as comparable to canned green chile sauce. Overall, I would skip the green chile and the«sopapilla» but I will return to try a burrito with a different meat and just stick to red.

I have family in New Mexico, so am thrilled to have some red and green in my town. Couple of suggestions; loose the jalapeño peppers and use green(hatch /anaheim), get a tortilla warmer. Could also up the temp on the red chile sauce a bit. Some small tweaks and this will be my go to place! I see a bigger restaurant in their future.(oh…and an IPA on the beer menu) ;o)

The authentic street Tacos were fantastic. We also had the quesadilla which were very good and the Smothered fries with cheddar and red chile were killer. Very good value for the price and good to have this type of place in North Bend. I will definitely be back!
