This is the one of the best supermarkets I have been to besides Walmart. I needed up here because my local supermarket that’s 2 minutes away closed and I my sister and I was craving salmon burgers. The food is packaged neatly. The produce is fresh and the aisles are huge. The neighborhood is VERYVERYVERYSKETCHY when I went at 9:15pm. Thank god I took an über to go and and über to leave. I would have been scared out my cahoots.

I expected Aldi to be the next local supermarket or shop rite type of store but it looks like a store that takes what’s left from others. They have no variety of anything and they lack products. Many items are cheap but that’s because the majority of the store are imitation products.

This place sucks! Sorry but it’s the bitter truth. I was gonna slide with the fact«ok it’s off brand stuff that’s their thing»…but two choices for juice grape and cranapple? Weird! And I just got home and realized the oatmeal pies I bought are expired. This place doesn’t check their inventory that is so scary. No I can’t go back now they are closing in 10 minutes. Shakes my head. After I get rung up the cashier asks would you like a bag… I look down and then back up like umm yes. So they expect you to carry all these items in your arms? She places the bag in the cart. They don’t bag for you… this isn’t a wholesale place so idk why they wouldn’t bag. I definitely won’t be shopping here ever again. P. S. please check your inventory on the shelves for expired food.

This ALDI location is brand new and clean. If you’re not familiar with ALDI, it’s a discount supermarket for people comfortable purchasing generic brands and not looking for fancy displays. They do carry a few name brand items(e.g., they have Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce & Frank’s red hot sauce) but the majority of what you’re going to find there = ALDI-brand products. The main benefit to shopping here is that many, many products are CHEAP! A lot of people think poor quality when they think cheap, but that’s not the case here. They recently reformulated their products to take out synthetic colors & partially hydrogenated oils. They also offer a double guarantee on products — so if you’re not 100% satisfied with what you bought, you just bring it back and they both replace the product and give you your money back. You can depend on them for the staples(a variety of breads, cow’s/soy/almond milk, Greek yog., etc.). But they’ve also been adding more & more great items each season. Their cheese selection is impressive for a smaller grocery store(the blocks of NY-aged sharp cheddar are particularly good). They recently had Greek yogurt-drizzled caramel corn in store and I had to stop myself from buying a dozen bags — best store-bought«dessert» item I’ve had in a year. In terms of produce, expect what is in season at the time to be the freshest and cheapest(as is the case at most grocery stores). Definitely bring your own reusable bags(you can even put your groceries into these rather than rent a cart, then unload them onto the cashier conveyor belt). If you put your bags into the cart next to the cashier, s/he will often load the groceries right into them for you, or put them in the top of the cart and let you move them into the bags as s/he scans. & be advised, cash or debit only.

Well being such an avid consumer I was curious, as I had never been in an aldi before. This location just opened in my neighborhood. I made a stop in on my way to Shoprite and was so impressed by the prices I decided to do all my shopping there. Eggs– $ 1.99 a dozen, milk– $ 2.77 a GALLON, butter $ 2.49, pizza dough-99 cents, I could go on and on this is just a sample of what I purchased. The store was well stocked, clean and their array of snacks, candy, cookies, trail mix set my eyes aglow. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was impressed. I love trying and reviewing new brands. The whole grain bread at $ 2.49 is delish, molasses cookies 89 cents for 10 cookies awesome. I got alot for my money which made me HAPPYYYYAAAHHHH(I said it like that too). This is a no frills but nicely laid out store. Bring your own bags or boxes to carry your groceries out & a quarter to use a shopping cart(which you get back) This store is a nice addition to the neighborhood with different choices than the usual grocery store. I will be returning.

Not your regular supermarket. I would only shop here for smaller items definitely not a full shopping trip. A lot of packaged goods not enough fresh produce. While there two of their aisle were being restocked and employees had big cargo carts blocking the entire aisle. Remember to bring your own bags or you will be charged 6 — 10 cents depending on which bag you choose. Their checkout isn’t so great the cashier just dumps your purchases into the cart not even the bags. I can see this being a future problem and long lines in the waiting. It’s okay but definitely not a staple store for me.
