It’s no longer a secret… This place is awesome! The entire staff is very welcoming and provides outstanding service. The food is delicious. There was one occasion where I didn’t care for the preparation of an appetizer and the chef personally came out and prepared it differently to my liking– a rare and appreciated extra step. This is a new neighborhood gem for north Bergen and I highly recommend anyone to try it. You’ll likely keep coming back!

I’ve been here a few times, and have never been disappointed. They have a great wine selection, and the service is simply wonderful.
Every time I’ve come to this restaurant I’ve sat at the bar. Nothing I ordered was every disappointing, and the bartender is EXCELLENT. Last time I went my friend and I were sitting by the bar, and as we were leaving in a hurry so I could get home to my daughter. I had forgotten my doggie bag, the waiter was so nice, he ran after us down the block to make sure I took it home.
I can’t wait to go back!!!

This place is amazing! The food is fresh and delicious! We ordered the eggplant appetizer and the octopus, both were so good! For main course, we ordered the seafood pasta, pasta with clam sauce and two pizzas. There was so much seafood
on the plate, we were shocked! And the pizza tastes exactly like what you would get in Naples! We can’t wait to go back!

I kept hearing about this place from friends on Facebook and my daughter who dines here frequently. So i finally went to dinner with my daughter. We walked in and I was taken back how small the place is. The waiter sat us at a table. Within minutesthe manager came over and said hello to my daughter and introduced himself to me. He then said will you prefer a table by the window. We agreed. He sat us at the table and it was perfect. The waitress came over and went over the wine list with us. My daughter and I actually couldnt agree to what bottle we wanted and the waitress was nice enough to offer us a tasting of both wines. From begining to end the foid was amazing. Looking around I just wanted to taste everything. We started with the Margarita Pizza and went from there. Dont miss desert! The cheese cake was by far the best! The food was so delicious! The staff and service was great. I do wish the place was a bit bigger. We went early and by the time we were done there was a line out the door! This was the best kept secret. Its getting very popular. This place is a gem for sure!

Great little restaurant! Came here with my husband for dinner and was pleasantly surprised at how great everything was! We will definitely be returning a number of times!

Where do I start??? I came here last year for the fist time and was amazingly surprised. I went back with my daughter and she loved it. With the help of Giovanni he put together an excellent pre fixe menu for my daughters graduation dinner. My parents emigrated here from Naples and boy did Aumm Aumm make an impression on them because no one can cook «cucina napoletana» according to them. However the food took my family by surprise.
Antonio came out to sing Mario Merola songs for my Papa. Now if you know him then you’re definitely an old school Napoletano.
The seafood always fresh, pasta delish and one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Excellent wine selection as well. From the moment you walk in he door everyone is always so friendly.

Nice cosy place near my home. Great homemade Italian food and desserts. Great service and atmosphere.

The drinks are delicious if they’re made by the bartender Alberto (I think that was his name) he has AMAZING hospitality skills. The pizza was ok, it was kinda soggy. I also had the lasagna, was very very good — the sauce was this light sweet tomato sauce which is how I like it. Finally, the waitress we had was this young girl with worst hospitality skills, she would say things like «are you going to order drinks or what?» Obviously she was inexperienced but management should catch those kinds of things. This is mainly why it’s getting 3 stars.

Came here on a whim since I was running around for some errands.
Heard some friends that live in the area talking about this place since it was new.
It was already packed when we got there. However, tables seem to be turning pretty quickly and I got seated promptly after waiting for 10~15 minutes.
They start you off with some complimentary bread pieces hot out of the oven. The texture on these were really good and it was tough not making a meal out of this alone.
Order the buffalo mozzarella pizza and the seafood pasta.
The pizza was spot on. The sauce fresh and the mozzarella was creamy without being too greasy. The pasta sauce was perhaps a bit too thin and too light. Seafood was plentiful in the fish and not overcooked.
Service was attentive and it was a hard choice not ordering dessert. Perhaps next time.

This place is über cute! New and hip brick oven pizza restaurant with an expansive bar. I can definitely see this place going the mile.
I walked in around 8PM Friday night and the place was jumping. Though there wasn’t a wait for my friend and I, there were plenty of people waiting for a table or seats at the bar. Every seat in the house during the time I was there was full. The service was good and the décor is very nice. The bread that was served was delicious and the 12inch pizza was good as well. I do think they need to work on the sauce as it lacked a little bit of flavor in my opinion and a little bit more cheese was needed as a topping, otherwise their pizza was good.
I wish I would have stayed a little longer to enjoy desert or a drink but tonight wasn’t that kind of night for me. Nevertheless, all the deserts looked good and the bar crowd looked fun. Next time I’m back, I hope to explore some of the other pizza types and leave as satisfied as I did today. This area needed a restaurant like Aumm and I hope to see that this location stays busy for days to come.

Margarita ½ meter — which was large and tasty. Ordered it with half peppers and onions but they forgot the onions.
Mezza Luna — which is half Margarita and half Calzone. It was a nice mix. The Ham in the Calzone could be better quality and cooked a bit more. The ham was kind of raw instead of seared or browned and you can tell it wasn’t a high quality ham.
Aumm Aumm — this is basically stuffed pizza. This was a let down. There was barely any cheese inside. It is mostly or ALL bread with Prosciutto on top. I wouldn’t order this again.
Now, the biggest disappointment of the meal were the mixed drinks, which were ALL very bad. Ordered a COSMO and the color and flavor was way off. Specialty Mojito was watered down and lacked sugar. Pommergranite martini was just ok. Chocolate Martini was a cheap want to be imitation, if you ever had a quality made chocolate martini. Kid had a lemonade, which was basically tap water with a lemon squeezed into it. We assumed the bartender has to be a family member or this is his first gig, because an experienced bartender can’t possibly make drinks that bad!
Overall the pizza was ok/​good for a decent price but stay away from the mixed drinks, unless your lucky enough to get a different bartender :0) There are many pizza spots opening in NJ, maybe give them a try before coming here.

Place is nice. The décor reminds me of a Brooklyn restaurant. The food was ok, not the greatest.
For apps we ordered the tiny meatballs and dish with mussels, clams, shrimp and squid in a red sauce. The clams and mussels were not cleaned and you get like little rocks inside. The meatballs were not tiny at all. Seem more like a regular size meatball.
For dinner I ordered the chicken with mozzarella and cherry tomatoes and the wife ordered a pizza.
First we asked the apps and salad to come out first then the entrees.
I basically finished my chicken before her pizza came out.
Everything in this restaurant is made with tomato sauce and the sauce is NOT great.

This is one of the only restaurants that I literally crave going to.
It is very rare that I find my self going to the same restaurant regularly, however, this place is impossible to resist.
Why? Because it truly is a taste of Italy.
It is so good that there are people who come here don’t even want to talk about it because they want to keep it their best kept secret. I am sorry to blow this places cover but everyone needs to know how amazing this place is.
Each and every staff member treats you like family here. They are warm, welcoming, accommodating and professional.
Service is spectacular at the bar and tables. So it honestly does not even matter where you sit.
I have been here over 8 times since I have found this place. The food is always consistently good and beyond fresh.
Their homemade pizza is honestly one of the best I have ever had! Made with tons of love and the best of ingredients!
Their seafood is just cooked to perfection and has never been less than outstanding.
The dessert – don’t even get me started. Just do yourself a favor and order their delicious homemade cheesecake.
This also happens to be a place for wine lovers. They have so many options. If you are in doubt on which one to get, the servers will be more than happy to assist you and direct you towards the choices they feel suits you pallet.
If you see this review, and still decide not to come here, I can honestly say your making a huge mistake. I’ll just leave it at that.

Wonderful new addition to the neighborhood. The atmosphere is cozy and sets the tone the moment you walk in the door.
The view of the Pizza Oven is a nice sight to have while you wait for your meal to be served.
The wine list looks to be well thought out and offers variety but not the overwhelming type and drinks I’ve had to date (after 4 visits) have been great!
The pizza is fresh made and as delicious as it gets!
The rest of the menu is just as impressive as well and again offers a nice variety without being overwhelming.
The staff is super friendly and accommodating and if your timing is right you and your company may get to experience the amazing voice of one of the cooks/​chefs who periodically pops out to share some classic singing.
Tiramisu keeps me coming back for more!

This place is great. Love the cozy feel of the smal space and the rustic modern décor. I came in here on a Saturday for an early dinner. Whenever I pass by this place late at night it’s packed so I think I’ll stick to early dinners and lunches to avoid the crowds. They have an extensive wine list. I’m in love with their Italian white Sauvignon blanc. It was so good. Service is good too. Very friendly and prompt. My husband and I ordered two pies to share. The bread they put out to start is delicious too. We ordered the diavolina which was amazing. We ask ordered the one with brocolinni and sausage from the blanc pies (I forgot the name) but I wasn’t a fan of that one because of the bitterness of the brocolinni. My husband liked it though. Id like to come back and try their pasta dishes and desserts. I’ll be back soon!

Visited Aumm Aumm last night for my one year anniversary… The moment we walked in I knew I would really enjoy the night…
The décor and atmosphere is really cozy! it reminds me almost of a smaller version of a NYC bar haha Having all their bottles on display all throughout the restaurant was a really cool conversation piece.
For food I ordered the Linguine Scoglio … My boyfriend ordered the beef tenderloins over greens with EVOO and balsamic… and we shared the tiny meatballs.
Honestly the meal was delicious. I consider myself a noodle connoisseur and these were cooked perfectly. The meatballs came in an amazing sauce and they were moist but had great texture and flavor.
Cannot wait to come back to this place

Perfect. This area needs some nicer restaurants and bars to attract more people.
The service is superb, we had to wait a few minutes for a table and the manager brought us champagne while we waited
Great vibe and ambience, feels truly Italian.
The food is AMAZING! I can’t have gluten and I’m a vegetarian. They have gluten free pasta (corn base I believe, but brown rice), and it was so fantastic. The salad we had was great, the wine selection is perfect (includes my favorite italian red wine), and the dessert was the perfect size (that was for my boyfriend of course, not gluten free!).
Everything is made fresh. My boyfriend couldn’t stop eating the fresh made bread. And the cheese on his pizza was so incredible. As fresh as it gets in NJ.
Never a dirty dish on the table for more than 3 minutes. Very attentive. Can’t wait for our next date night!

Like being in Firenze right in North Bergen. And I have been to Italy 15 times! Authentic, delicious. The custom wood burning oven from Italy is a must see.
Pizza and pasta was spectacular.
If you are in the area, you must stop in.
