Amazing breakfast place! My family and I stopped here twice in the same week to stuff our faces. It’s a homey mom and pop place. Very affordable, with a large serving size, and delicious food. We heard customers say «give me the usual» and ran into the same people eating the second time we went. Most knew each other and as they walked in would say hello to everyone. We felt right at home.
Service was awesome! My family is big and loud but they were so patient and nice. I had the breakfast sandwich with fried egg, bacon, and cheese. My brother had over medium eggs with bacon and potatoes, another one had the oatmeal, my mom had the omelette built her own way with home fries. We all ordered coffee with milk and it was just like we make it at home. The old fashioned way. Everyone loved the food so much we came back right before leaving the state. It was the only place we came back to from all the restaurants we visited during our stay.

Awesome place, great atmosphere, fast service. I had the Italian hero it’s was amazing, very good and fulfilling. Will defiantly coming back when I’m in the area again!

Seriously the best egg sandwich, and I’ve search all of hudson and bergen county. Perfectly fried egg, smoked bacon, just the right amount of cheese on a lightly toasted portugese roll. And beyond that a friendly staff and superior customer service. What more can you ask for?!

Randomly stumbled upon this place heading home. The menu is pretty self-​explanatory, but i felt it was pretty large.
I always feel overwhelmed when looking at these types of menus. There was your set menu items, then the «build your own», then the options to change breads, muffins, rolls, etc. I ended up rolling the dice on the breakfast sandwich consisting of roll, eggs, turkey, cheese (salt pepper ketchup is optional). Added a small cup of coffee as well.
Food is made to order, there were a few orders ahead of mine. The dining area was filled with all men, i’m assuming they are regulars just chilling or just getting their morning calories before work.
The breakfast came out to be about $ 5…a bit expensive considering the coffee was a small, and not american standard of small, NYC standard for small.
However, the coffee was really good. I will say it would be worth $ 2 for a small cup – that’s how much i enjoyed it. I was pleasantly surprised with the sandwich as well. It was constructed nicely, toasted, and simple flavors. I do wish i ordered it with an english muffin (was an option), but the roll they served tasted freshly baked too. Soft, airy, and slightly chewy.
There are plenty of fast food chains around the area, that also offer breakfast options (McD), but this is local business and you get fairly fresh, made to order food, instead of microwaved things.
Will stop back for coffee.

Wish i can give this place a 10+. Great food, fast service and great prices. Everything is always FRESH. Always come here for my chicken club w cheese on a wheat panini. Yummy! Frank and his wife are awesome, friendly and treat customers like family. LOVE IT!!!

Way to expensive and food is no good. Just this morning my brother ordered me an egg and cheese sandwich. First of all they did not put any cheese and worst of all they gave me past due date bread that was hard to chew it was like eating a piece rubber. my brother got my little one a bagel with cream cheese and the cream cheese was not even fresh it looked more like and tasted like cottage cheese. I will not eat food from this place again weather I get it for free or not.

Yummm! Ordered the bacon, egg and cheese on a roll and it was really good. Fresh Eggs, Crispy Bacon and Fresh/​Soft bread. The staff was really nice and I was greeted with big smiles. I will definitely go back!

Love the food, my favorite is the chicken club panini. Doesn’t get any better then this.

Delicious. Clean. Fast. Those are my criteria for breakfast/​lunch takeout and they have been met with high marks. From the friendly service to the clean bathrooms I can happily report I’ll definitely come back for more.

Really good breakfast sandwiches & great prices. Only downfall is that if you go in the morning expect to be tons of construction workers and cops in line. Wait is about 15 mins. I suggest you call ahead.

Coming from CT for BU inline game at tourney in NJ. Found this gem of a place. Great sandwiches. Breakfast and pastrami. Cappuccino was really good! Staff and service excellent.

Forgot how good this place is. Used to come here for breakfast and lunch all the time years ago. Hadn’t been here since before the big renovation and I ask myself, «why?»
Awesome breakfast sandwiches — Taylor ham or bacon, egg and cheese on a roll is perfect. Get the egg fried and the yolk seeps into the bread *salivating*
Ordered it by phone for pick up and it was ready in literally 5 minutes.
Lunch is great too. Used to always get the chicken cutlet sandwich. They can make a nice salad for you too if you’re trying too stay away from the bread. Although that could be tough considering they always have the freshest Portuguese rolls. Those are hard to resist.

Oh man. EAT HERE ASAP. I came based on reviews and I’m glad I did. Excellent bacon!!! My husband had the bacon egg and cheese and I had a BLT. Soooo good, crispy and just the right amount of Smokey/​salty flavor. We really wanted a breakfast spot but hate iHop and the services at local diners. There’s limited seating because it’s a small café, but in the little amount of time we were eating a lot of returning customers were coming in and out. (They all knew each other and were happy to wait for their food.) That’s a good sign.

Solid 4 stars for a great breakfast spot. The food is quite fresh, always a good bunch of regulars for breakfast.
The wraps are very nicely done, and you can’t miss with the daily lunch specials.

This in one of my favorite breakfast spots. I have been here many times and I am still surprised by the amount of bacon in my bacon, egg & cheese. A great place to grab a quick bite to eat.
The service is great, but efficiency needs to be improved. There is only one person working in the front. Very nice guy, but one in the same who takes my order, brings it to my table and disposes of it when I am done. Many times there is a modest line at the counter because he is running food from the kitchen and has to interrupt the taking of orders.
A food runner is needed in my opinion, but the food is good and fresh.
