I recently moved to New Jersey from Texas. I attended a school function with my 13 year old daughter and join the drama group at Friendly’s for ice cream proceeding the event. We visited with friends and school mates for about an hour and returned to our vehicle only to find that someone had spray painted my car with gold spray paint all over the passenger door. The motive was unclear to myself and the investigating police officers because there was no prior disagreement with anyone nor do I know anyone here so I walked away with a police report and the assignment to file a claim. After speaking to my insurance company I start the process of getting an estimate for the repair. I walked into Dennis & Don’s Collision Center after visiting others in which I was displeased with for many reason. Upon entry the owner and his lovely daughter immediately showed compassion and jumped into gear to assist me with my situation. One of the employees walked out to take a look at my car and immediately reported back to one of the owners. The owner came out took one look at my car and said let me try something 1^st. He returned with a compound and a rag and begin to remove the spray paint from my car door and found no harm to the original paint job. In addition, he suggested that I follow up with a wash and wax job which made my car look like new. I attempted to pay for the services rendered and the owner refused to accept any money from me, words can not express how awesome the entire cast at Dennis & Don’s Collision Center were to me and there one act of kindness has definitely earned my trust and repeat business for the duration of my time here in New Jersey. My family and I have been experiencing a rocky transition, but Dennis & Don’s Collision Center has restored our faith in the kindness of others. If you have any automotive needs please give them a try and I know that you will not be disappointed.

Exceptional and thorough job from start to finish! Dad’s Volkswagen Passat was hit in the rear by another party. Trunk, rear bumper, etc. was pretty beat up. I read the reviews of this shop and decided to take my business here. Best decision ever. The first time I arrived, the full crew wasn’t available, however, Dennis did a quick fix so that the rear bumper wasn’t hanging. I left the Volkswagen when they were ready and about a week and a half later the Volkswagen came back looking good as new! Hats off to their service, expertise, attention to detail, and professionalism!

Had to make a review about my awesome experience here! I had just bought an STI spoiler to put on my WRX and needed it painted. I called many different shops for quotes, and Dennis & Don was the shop that had given me the fairest price with the best reputation. Okay so after deciding I wanted to bring my spoiler here to paint, being the impatient kid that I am and wanting to put the spoiler on as soon as possible, I asked them how long the turnaround time would be. To my surprise, instead of them randomly slipping me into their schedule, they asked me when I would like to have it back. In addition, all the other shops I called told me they wouldn’t be able to work on it until the next week. Anyway, it was Wednesday, and said I would prefer to have it back by the end of the week, but I knew if it was not possible, it is completely understandable because obviously I am not their only customer. They said they would try, and that they are closed Saturdays but if I really wanted it back, they usually have someone in the office during the mornings and I could pick it up if I wanted. So I dropped it off that Wednesday around 1PM, and I received a call Friday at 2PM from Bill (one of the people at the front desk) letting me know that the spoiler was ready to be picked up. Their work was phenomenal and done quickly! Oh, and the final price turned out to be less than what they quoted me over the phone, that’s how you know they’re trustworthy. If you have a bigger job for them to do rather than a small spoiler, don’t expect them to do it as quickly though. As implied before, they have other customers too. Bill was very helpful and informative when I had questions, thank you Bill! I will be coming back here if I need to.

Back story– A deer decided to run into my car and bounce along the passenger side– leaving a series of dents, scrapes and scratches along the entire length of the car.
My insurance company was unable to ascertain damage from my pics because the car is black and sent me to an affiliated body shop for estimate. The estimate consisted of a less than 5 minute look at car, 30 minute wait for write up and asking when I would make appointment for repairs. I explained that it was a two door convertible and I was unable to open door– (or get roof down) making it difficult for passengers. «nothing we can do» until its in the shop. i immediately went ti Unilocal and discovered extremely poor reviews and many complaints about the shop and decided to find somewhere reputable to do the work.
I found Dennis and Don’s through Unilocal and read the great reviews, I knew I was in the right place as soon as I walked in the door. They reviewed the original estimate and did a thorough inspection of car, and when I explained issue with passenger door– offered to do a temporary fix so I could enjoy car with top down (and let passengers in and out without crawling through driver side).
They were booked out about 5 weeks but it was worth waiting for– the car looks amazing, they gave me tips on getting it detailed and suggestions for some minor interior upgrades and fixes.
Tips: cash or check only and you may have to wait a few weeks for a repair appointment but it is worth it for talented technicians and artists with integrity.

An awesome auto repair shop. Seriously, they are the best! Sometimes they even have 1– to 2-​month wait times due to their good online reviews. I waited a month to have them fix a broken bumper, and I’m glad I did. If you need your car repaired, and you live within driving distance of this place, get it done here. You won’t regret it.

After hitting my garage, my front bumper was coming off and looked pretty destroyed. There were also scratches on my back bumper that I wanted to get rid of… except when I went to another repair shop, they told me replacing the bumpers would cost roughly $ 1500. So I went to Dennis and Don’s to get another estimate. They were amazing. Five minutes, a screwdriver, and some cleaning solution later, my front bumper was popped back into place, paint stains had been taken off, and even though there are still scratches on my car, it looks fine. They wouldn’t even let me tip – but I insisted. Amazing service deserves to be recognized.

I had been living and working in the New Brunswick area for less than a year when my my Chevrolet was rear ended in Dec 2010. My local Chevrolet dealer told me that they contract Dennis and Don’s and another shop for the repairs. I decided to select Dennis and Don’s shop after talking with the owners at both shops. Bill was very prompt at scheduling me. I was pleased that, at my request, Bill’s team also touched up an small area about the size of a pencil eraser on another panel where the paint was scraped off by a shopping cart before the accident. I received my car by the date promised washed and vacuumed. I check all repairs in detail after I return to my home and I was very happy that all parts were re-​installed properly and no fasteners were omitted so I did not need to return for any re-​work. This was the only body shop where I did not find anything that needed rework. The paint still looks great today after 100 F temperatures and intense sun all summer and all of the parts have stayed firmly attached after 20,000 miles of driving following the repair.
Dennis and Dons does repairs that are by far the best that I have seen in the three body shops that I have contracted for repairs on other cars that I owned. It was a stress free experience for me during and after the repairs were made.

Wonderful! My car was in a hit and run and needed a lot of work. It took a while, but I was told ahead of time they were backed up from Sandy. It was ready exactly when promised. They are so nice and friendly, they explained everything to me with out me even asking. I found my new auto place!

Fantastic experience here! Highly recommend. So much so that I’m writing my first review. No complaints or issues, car repaired better than before my accident.
Rear-​ended a pick-​up, my Subaru needed a new bumper, hood, light, and some engine work. Car repaired a few days ahead of their estimated time. Looks like new. Better than before the accident.
From start-​to-​finish, this family run business was «on it.» I dealt with Bill, so he would call me with updates, or when I called, Bill would walk me through everything — getting as technical as I wanted him to. When it was time to pick up my car after repair, he even entertained my toddler while I struggled to put in the carseat (Bill ultimately did it for me).
I wish I could go there for routine repairs — not just a collision.

Found them through State Farm. Great service, kept me up to date with estimates after my car was towed there. The damaged part of my car looked brand new, plus, it was finished almost a week before the promise date.
