Business Owner

Born and raised in Richmond Virginia, to Chef Corey Allen Sr. cooking started off as a hobby and a fun way for him to spend quality time with his mother and family especially during the holidays. He later realized that cooking was much more than a hobby; it was something that he truly loved. He would watch a close friend of the family (Cheryl Tucker) as she prepared to fry chicken making sure to watch closely as she gathered all of her special ingredients. As Corey got older he took a small break from cooking but later returned to his true passion he went on to work at the Jefferson hotel restaurant picking up many valuable tips along the way watching the Executive chefs. After he left there, he went on to work in Costco’s bakery as he was responsible for preparing breads, pastries and others desserts. Corey felt that it was time for him to step out on his own and start his own business and that’s when he decided to open Corey & Corey’s Catering. Corey & Corey’s Catering is now a famil
