The food looked good and the restaurant looked clean and service was good but the food was very mediocre. I really didn’t enjoy anything on the buffet.

I gave it a 4 because for a Buffett it was really good. The options of foods were nearly limitless and the food was actually really good for a Buffett. The sushi was good, the hibachi was decent and anything Asian styled you will want is there. It’s not going to be as good as if you ordered each dish from an actual restaurant but if you want either variety or quantity it’s great. We went on a Saturday evening at 7:30 so that may have something to do with the food being fresh and tasty. Service isn’t spectacular but they refill your drinks and get your used plates out of the way reasonably quickly.

Stopped here for lunch while on the road working. Was pleasantly surprised at how clean and well put together this buffet is. They had a wide variety of sushi which was a plus for me. Hibachi grill. Really anything you could ask for as far as Chinese and Japanese. The. Food was fresh and piping hot. And the price was only $ 7. This place is top notch as far as Buffets go. I will return!

Some of the food felt cold. They need to increase the temperature on the warmers. Quality of the food was average /some below average. Some of the food had been sitting out for probably a long time and was getting dry. I wonder if there have been problems with cases of food poisoning. The price is competitive but you get what you pay for. The staff is pleasant and courteous. You pay before you go in. Pretty much what I expected for a strip mall all you can eat buffet in this part of town. I would not say it is a great dining experience but I am sure it would satisfy some people’s needs for the price.

I love coming here when i want habachi. This location has a nice atmosphere, and friendly servers. The price is not too bad, it’s like 7 or 8 bucks for lunch. I get a few things off the hot bars, but mainly focus my appetite on the hibachi grill. I’d wait until they bring out fresher food to eat off the bar. I give it 4 Stars because I’ve not been let down here before.

I come here once in a while for lunch with coworkers and sometimes for dinner when I’m in the mood. This buffet has a wide variety of foods and it always very clean and can get pretty busy. The service is good for a buffet. You can’t expect the service of to be like Chadar Thai or BonChon at a buffet, you just can’t. But like I said, the service is good for a buffet. You really can’t beat $ 8 for an all you can eat lunch buffet

Not my best Chinese buffet experience. I’ve never had orange chicken with what I am pretty sure was mayo in the sauce. There is almost as much American style food as the Chinese food. Plus they were missing my favorite Chinese dish, sweet & sour chicken. The service was attentive and the buffet was full of food but it was not very hot. I know I shouldn’t expect much for what you pay but I would drive the extra 15 minutes to go to the Tepanyaki on West Broad which is much better.

Best of the giant Chinese Buffets. Clean and well lit with prompt friendly service. What really stands out is the variety of the food selections… that are kept hot, fresh and plentiful. Of note are the Mongolian grill, the sushi, the fresh fruit, the variety of seafood including crawfish and crab legs on the weekend.

For a buffet the place was clean and has a good selection of food. The prices have gone up since some of the other reviews. Lunch was $ 7.59 for adults, $ 6.49 children 6 to 10, and $ 5.59 children 2 to 6. The food was your average Chinese buffet type nothing stood out or was absolutely amazing. The big bonus going to this Buffet with the hibachi grill was included. If I had my choice I would just order from the hibachi grill decent selection nothing major but they did have chicken steak pork and seafood. The staff is nothing to complain about either you barely talk to anyone or even really see anyone but the waiters do clean your table almost immediately. Overall myself my wife and my children enjoyed our visit and would probably return if only to get the Hibachi Grill.

My family and I love this place. My mother and I always get our food cooked first in the back on the grill. Love it. Then we will make our way to the buffet for something different. I love all the options to choose from. They have all kinds of cakes and desserts. The fruit is so delicious. We go here maybe once a month. You can use a coupon that’s in the reach magazine. My kids love it too.

I cannot believe that people in this city rate an Asian buffet like it’s supposed to be Peking… If you want great Asian food and you go to a buffet and spend 6.99 for lunch… You are in the wrong place. This place has a super selection, the food is fresh, it’s always busy… If you want cheap eats and a huge selection of fresh cheap food… This is the spot. It’s the cleanest and best buffet in town. And to complain about service? It’s a buffet…

Family and I enjoyed this location(Off of midlothian) a little better than the West Broad location. It just seems a tad cleaner. Same food. If you have never been I think it is as expected or better than expected Chinese buffet(i.e. not gourmet but safe and edible). Family really loves the crawfish and sometimes crab legs. Other seafood is good too. For non-seafood eaters the chicken dishes are pretty decent. I like making my own fried rice or lo mein in the grill area with a lot of garlic, veggies and usually some beef. I also like the cheese wontons and the banana pudding. And it is really affordable.

It may seem that I am being overly generous with a 4-star review, but out of all of the chinese buffets in this area, this is by far the best that I have been to. Reading some of the reviews that have been posted, I feel that some of these folks must have come to this place with higher than usual expectations. Buffet food is not meant to be high quality. Keeping that in mind I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food that I tried. Just about everything was good for the price I paid. The sushi was freshly made and there were a good variety of rolls as well. The hibachi grill in back was good even if it lacked the variety of sauces and ingredients that you would find at the nearby Genghis Khan Mongolian Grill. On the regular buffet there is a wide assortment of chinese dishes as well as american ones. My personal favorite is the grilled chicken dish which tastes great without being drenched in sauce. I also like the fresh strawberries and watermelon that are available for dessert along with the cakes. The ice cream is actually prepackaged ice cream bars, but there are many different varieties to choose from. Another thing I like about this place is the cool blue LED lighting and the dim atmosphere similar to Sushi King. The price is $ 6.99 for lunch and $ 3 more for dinner. Definitely a great value considering the variety to choose from. As for the review that suggested that the Teppanyaki in the West End was better than this, I have been to that one and it really isn’t. But you can read my review on that one separately. This location is much better in my opinion.

This place is a prime example of how more could be less. There are no less than 50 food options at this buffet but so much of the food is bland or plain, it leaves you wanting to hit a McDonald’s after the experience. The interior is standard Asian buffet — well lit, lots of tables and chairs and rows, cute lighting fixtures and rows of heated steam trays. The staff is standard and efficient(notice I did not mention friendly) and I appreciated how they cleaned away finished plates from your table quickly. Yeah, expectations were a little high but I really did hope I would find more than 2 items out of 50 that I might enjoy. It wasn’t horrible, it was just not good or slightly off or bland. The hot and sour soup was«slightly off», the fried shrimp was«bland», and the beef with onion and peppers was«not good» — and sadly small samples of other foods proved to fall into the same 3 categories. Even the sweets were just okay. I’ve had worse but would have to say I was more disappointed by the food encountered here and probably won’t visit it again.

Don’t believe all these reviews. This place is a good buffet, and a great value for the money. The restaurant is still in the«new» category, having been open less than a year, and the furniture and buffet equipment all look it – comfortable and clean. This was my third visit to the restaurant. Aside from the large assortment of yummy sushi, they also have row after row of delectable, and some not-so-delectable, food items. To each his own — many folks who dine here like the blander buffet items, while others, like me, appreciate the variety of some of the more interesting dishes. After sampling several things, you’ll WILL find some that you really like — guaranteed — and some that you don’t care for. That’s how buffets work, whether at your grandparents’ house or a restaurant. For a $ 12 dinner, you’re complaining because the king crab legs weren’t the best you ever had? Grow up! All the friends I’ve taken here love it, having found several things in the buffet they enjoy — and we always left quite full. P. S. Coupons for $ 2 off are always available in ValPak and Reach magazine.

You know, it wasn’t that bad. It’s a buffet, which are generally disgusting anyway, but I am much more grossed out at Golden Corral or the Shoney’s breakfast bar. As a rule, I dislike buffets, but my family does not, so I will inevitably end up at one occasionally. Also, I love sushi, and these places tend to have it. The good: prices, attentive server, hot, fresh food that was constantly refilled. They had raw oysters, sushi, crawfish, all of which I ate(and didn’t get sick) hey had a lot of sushi and it was really good sushi. They had good cake. That never happens at buffets. The bad: The crab legs were dry and nasty. Listen, peeps, it’s a buffet. You’re not going to get 5-star food; lower your expectations or go somewhere else.

This place recently opened near the abandoned strip mall next to Toys R Us on Carmia Way(Near Chesterfield Towne Center). I initially had high hopes for this place. Though those hopes were quickly squashed once I finished with the experience. Here is my review: The Good: Prices– The price for a lunch buffet is $ 6.99. They have discounts for seniors and children as well. Variety– There are over 60 different buffet items ranging from Americanized Chinese dishes, Hibachi foods, American foods and Desserts. Plenty to choose from. The Bad: Taste– Aside from a few of the famous Americanized Chinese dishes, the majority of the food that I tasted lacked seasoning and any flavor. Foods like the fried fish, mac n cheese and pizza fit this category. Restaurant Layout– The Buffet station is located in the middle of the restaurant in a condensed fashion. Seating is surrounding the buffet stations. In other words, take a piece of paper and draw a square. draw mini chairs surrounding that square. The layout of the stations makes it very difficult to get food and get back to your seat without bumping into someone or being blocked by two people who are taking their time putting food on their plate. Service– Granted it is a buffet, the server did not bother refilling drinks until she was hunted down. She did not bother taking the dirty plates off the table until she was hunted down. Overall– While the restaurant offers a cheap variety of food, I suggest avoiding this place if you can. Those who have enjoyed upscale buffets such as Texas de Brazil know the difference between a $ 45 per plate crowd and a $ 6.99 per plate crowd. When the buffet is cheap and the food is awful, you can only say that you got what you paid for. TWOSTARS
