The Who/What/Why/When and When of Computer Genius
Way, way back in 1976, no not 1776, when there was no Internet and Apple and Dell had yet to make their respective and sizable computer footprints on the unsuspecting world there appeared a dynamic young salesman by the name of Norman Carignan. Norm was peddling microprocessor named Intel, (sound familiar?) and enjoying incredible success by combining the magic of Intel with amazing service and, as he always promised, on time delivery. That’s still Norm Carignan’s credo and is the benchmark and backbone of Computer Genius.
Over the course of the next 37 years Norm, with a partner, opened a national electronics company specializing in the sale of printers. He bought out his partner in the mid 1980’s and then proceeded to build the annual sales volume to in excess of $ 11,000,000. But unfortunately the company became a victim of the economy and Norm shuttered the company in the early 1990’s.
