E. C. Merrill, Inc. is a fourth generation family business founded in 1949, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. In June of 2000, we aquired the assets of Sig’s heating in North Fond du Lac. We now serve Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, and the surrounding communities from our shop at 809 Wisconsin Ave. in North Fond du Lac.

Business Owner

Jay Merrill is the current owner of E. C. Merrill, Inc. He has followed in his fathers and grandfathers footsteps and has been joined in the business by his son, Bryan. He worked for the company after school, summers and weekends throughout high school.

After training as an army combat engineer, Jay spent 3 years stationed in Germany, then attended UW Oshkosh and UW Madison before joining the company full time in 1978.
