History

Established in 1822.

The Stage Coach Inn, founded in the early 1800s, was once a stop-off point for stagecoaches travelling to nearby cities. Now a restaurant, the building itself has history. It was once part of the Underground Railroad, helping to hide fleeing slaves during the Civil War.
