We are an independent Baptist church standing for the fundamentals of the Christian faith. We sing the great hymns of the faith and preach from the King James Version of the Bible. Our passion is the gospel of Jesus Christ which is open to all that call upon Him for salvation. We are unashamed of that gospel. Growth in the Word of God and the God of the Word is our goal. We desire to be a positive influence through that gospel in our neighborhood, state, and around the world through global missions.

We have Bible Study Fellowship at 10AM each Sunday. Sunday morning service begins at 11AM and Sunday evening service begins at 6PM. The preaching and teaching is practical and Biblical.

We have Bible study and prayer each Wednesday at 7PM.

We host Sacramento’s first chapter of Reformers Unanimous, the nation’s première addiction recovery program each Friday at 7PM. Visit our website to learn more.

History

Established in 1958.

This church was planted in 1958 through the Lord guiding Pastor Clyde White. At that time it was known as Highlands Baptist Church. The name was changed to the Faith Baptist Tabernacle in the mid-80’s.
