My son lives in Van Nuys. I live in Colorado. I was searching for a mattress store near my son’s apt. I saw the ratings for the store so I called and talked to Chris the owner. He talked to me about his sales on discontinued models I think. With free delivery and removal of the old mattress set, my son came to the store, bought a great mattress set at $ 500 off and scheduled a day for delivery. There was a mix up with the order so no delivery but Chris made it very right. He made sure my son had something to sleep on until the new mattress came. He called and was very apologetic about the whole transaction and asked my son to come to the store where he gave him sets of very very good pillows for free for all the inconvenience. Chris went above and beyond and I truly thank him for that!

I love the mattress that I got from Mattress Pros. Picking out an affordable king size pillow-​top mattress took no time at all and I am sleeping better than ever. I got a 1100 $ mattress for 799 $ and set the delivery date and was out in under 15 minutes. Easy-​Peasy-​Lemon-​Squeezy.
The delivery date ended up not being met because of a mistake with my order, but mistakes happen. The mattress came three days late, and Chris called me every day with updates and threw in high quality pillows for the trouble. He really went out of his way to make things right. That was really appreciated and Chris knows how to take care of his customers. If there’s a price range that you can’t exceed, he will actually work with you and make sure you walk out feeling like royalty.

Shopped till we dropped. Came here first then wasted a week hitting all the other stores looking for a better deal, to no avail. Exercise in futility, got a great deal on a great mattress. Terry never pressured us but really took the time the time to help us find the right mattress for us in our budget. Only took a few days to get but it was worth the wait, loving our new mattress. It is definitely worth your time to check them out.

These guys really know their stuff! Also it’s clear that customer service is #1. When we decided to buy a new mattress I was dreading going to one of those chains with the nauseatingly annoying ads. Not only did we get some real, logical advice to help make our decision, we got a fair price, and perhaps best of all, we didn’t have to go Larry’s or whatever that place is called. This was an example of you get what you pay for. Chris is definitely a nice guy no doubt. We have had our Spring Air Liberty for three months and it’s already sagging. We were also promised two free pillows that after a lot of run around we still have yet to receive.
If I could afford to upgrade the bed I would. Spend a little more and get a brand name bed. Lesson learned in this case.

So so happy I looked at Unilocal reviews and went here after looking around for a new mattress. Chris is super nice, and incredibly knowledgable about his products. He explained and showed me how the mattress works to alleviate back pain and how it doesn’t bother your partner while sleeping. Like not just let me lay on the mattresses, but actually showed me the mechanics and engineering of the inside of it and why it works. He was not pushy at all, and when I found a mattress that I liked, he told me the price and asked if it was in my budget. He told me that if it wasn’t, he would show me other mattresses that were similar, still good quality and comfortable, just not as superior. He was all about what was right for me, both comfort wise and financially. Being a young woman, it was a great relaxed feeling given I’m used to pushy sales guys trying to get the higher sale and not listening to my needs.
When Chris asked when I needed the mattress and I explained to him that my new, bigger bed frame was coming the next morning, he told me that my mattress would not be ready by then, as they are made to order. However, my uneasiness only lasted a millisecond, as Chris told me he could give me a brand new loaner mattress for my new bed frame to hold me over for the couple days while my mattress was being made! Yep, he didn’t want me to put my smaller mattress on my new bigger frame, or to have to sleep on the small one on the floor, and let me use a brand new one that was delivered to me the next day, in the plastic. I was able to use it for 4 nights, and when mine came in, they delivered it, took the loaner mattress, and my old one for me too! How AMAZING is that?!
The delivery guys were so nice too! They didn’t just deliver my mattress, but they lifted and put it up on my frame (which is tall). It was great, because I definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it myself. They did everything fast and efficient, and were so nice.
Lastly, I had gone in with my little girl, and Chris was very kid friendly — which isn’t something I always encounter with salespeople. It made me really happy that I had chosen to go to Mattress Pros, and was only confirmed more when Chris gave my little girl two plush Serta Sheep before we left. She loved them! And he must have thanked me for my business at least 6 times, which had me leaving even more glad that I chose to go to Mattress Pros.
Seriously, I couldn’t not have asked for a better experience and a friendlier place, and I am incredibly happy with the whole process!

I stumbled upon this place while searching Unilocal for an affordable mattress store. I was intrigued by the positive reviews, this motivated me to pay this place a visit. Upon arriving, we were immediately greeted by Chris. Originally, we were not intending to shop on the spot. But he was very knowledgeable about his products, what best suited our budget, and like other reviews we didn’t feel we were getting up sold. We liked the mattress as well as the price. So we decided to make the purchase on the spot. He gave us an accurate delivery date and once the guys delivered the new mattress, they took my old mattress at no extra cost. In addition, Chris followed up to see if everything was up my to my standards. Overall, from now on I know where to shop for mattresses and I highly recommend it to everyone. You won’t regret it!

Had a tempurpedic mattress for 10 years and realized it was time for a new one! Thats when I found Chris over at Mattress Pros.
As soon as i arrived i saw signs in the front of the store displaying 70% off and immediately felt at ease as I knew prices weren’t locked down. When entering the store i was greeted by Chris Abdou (owner) with a jovial personality and inviting smile. I began to sample different mattress’s and later learned that this wasn’t just any mattress store. With quality name brands at very affordable prices and people who truly care if your mattress is the right fit for you, how can you go wrong. Delivery guy was out sick and Chris delivered the mattress himself!
I will definitely be referring people to this company…

Followed the advice of all the other reviewers and was not disappointed. Chris was friendly, knowledgable, and very helpful the day we went in. We picked our mattress very quickly and things were set. It was delivered on time and the way it should be. We had to wait a couple of days for the mattress to come in and Chris was very communicative with me about the delivery process.
After it was in our home, we realized the box spring/​mattress combo was too tall for our young daughter. I called Chris, and he let me know that swapping it out for a «low profile» box spring would be no problem and would reduce the height. Chris drove it over himself to avoid us having to pay delivery charge for the swap. Took the one back we didn’t want, swapped it out for the low profile one, all at no cost.
You won’t regret shopping here, I assure you.

My wife and I were just married last month, we were living together for the first time, and were looking to buy ourselves a new mattress for our new home.
We came across this place on Unilocal and I’m so glad we did. We wanted a queen size but had no idea anything beyond that so we were planning a lot of research. On what we expected to be our first stop of many, we found, and bought, exactly what we wanted!
We couldn’t have done this without Chris (the owner and operator). He has a wealth of experience and knowledge and he is as nice as they come. He showed is around, answered our questions, and really helped us find exactly what was right for Our situation.
