Best Guatemalian food in town! Plato el parador is my favorite, the staff is friendly and polite!

I live near by this place but they have the best pupusas and pollo en cream ever! Remains me of home… Great atmosphere! Clean place!

A hidden gem hiding in a hole in the wall wrapper. The place is hidden away in a strip mall with horrible parking but the food is worth it. There are no frills, no tweezered or over manicured plates; just honest food. I had the sampler plater it’s one of their specialties and everything was great! I need a case of their hot homemade tortillas!!!

I’ve been to El Salvador and really enjoyed the pupusas, so every new city that I visit I always try to eat pupusas whenever I can. I’m staying at a hotel nearby this restaurant and I was really excited about having pupusas and tamales, but I must say that I was quite disappointed. The pupusas that I received tasted like a bad hot pocket. It wasn’t terrible, but it was definitely not the authentic pupusas that I am use to eating. They also didn’t have any curtido(cabbage slaw)…who eats pupusas without curtido and red sauce?! The tamales were great and the food is pretty cheap, as is the norm with Salvadoran food. If you’re craving pupusas, I would give them a try I guess. But if you’ve never had Salvadoran food or you’re from El Salvador, I would pass.

Almost as good as my grandmas cooking. I ordered the pollo en crema… It was amazing! Comes with hand made tortillas too

It’s hard to find a good authentic Guatemalan restaurant. I’m glad i found this place, really good food. I’ll be ordering tamales for Christmas, they are so tasty :)
