Got a used boat from a friend for a good price, took it to Edmond and he fixed it up nice and good. Cant wait to take this thing to the lake!

In my 15 years as a boat owner, I have never gone anywhere else than to Ermond’s shop. Whether be it for routine maintenance or a complete repower, I have always been given the best service possible. In the case of my small fishing boat with a vintage Mercury outboard, he kept it in top running condition. For my cabin cruiser, when it was time to rebuild the original engine, he did such an outstanding job that it is far better than when it was new. He recommended stainless steel parts that now make maintenance so simple considering that I primarily use it in salt water. He goes the extra distance so I can confidently leave the harbor and know that I will return. Recommend highly.

I was super pleased with my service. Extremely knowledgeable on hot rods and marine boats. I own a 69 firebird I paid a“expert” to install a street can kit and this guy charged me 3k and set the initial timing to 10 degrees. I had less horsepower than when I started with a stock cam. Extreme opened the hood adjusted the correct initial timing in two minutes. I called the shop who installed the cam and they swore it was on the correct timing for the cam. This shop did professional work and as knowledgeable dyno numbers proved it. I trust them with any speed or marine application. The service and helped my friends with Howard boats too. Couldn’t ask for a more knowledgeable shop. Great job! I don’t Believe all these negative reviews because I’m a paying customer and I not once experienced any of these issues!

Most unprofessional business ever. He responded to his major error with this:
«if the battery was truly bad i would warranty it i never yet to have to warranty a battery yet if it was i would have replaced it the fact of the matter you did not come back so i am led to understand this is all bulshit».
He installed a non marine battery into my jetski and an oil change for $ 600.00. I have documentation from other place stating that the battery was not intended for watercraft. I also have receipt from Ermonds showing that I received oil change and a new battery for $ 600.00. Yep, he’s a real gem. He needs to be reported to BBB. Maybe I will since I have the documentation.

Money well spent! Boat runs like new and this is the first time we had any major work done. Excellent service and a great mechanic. Will return for any future needed work on our Bayliner and Seadoo jet skiis. Great place to bring your watercraft for repairs.

Poor delusional Erond… thinking he’s so saintly. Had him, or I should say his flunky mechanic and stoned helper, install new front drop axels and coil springs in my ’66 f100. Well I barely made it home and when I did I got under said truck only to find half the the nuts and bolts were loose and according to a very large yellow sticker on the passenger side new spring said «DRIVER SIDE ONLY» !! It Was installed on the wrong side! Nor did they install new radius arm bushings as was agreed apone. WTF Ermond? Don’t you check those bone heads work? I could have and should have just done the job myself. It wasn’t that big a job. Would have saved a lot of aggravation, not to mention a lot of money!

I took my boat in last summer and just getting to write a review now. Had a small gear oil leak from my outdrive — a drop or 2 a day at most. I service the lower drive myself every 3 yrs but I have not done any major service to the outdrive in 10yrs and had a BIG lake Powell trip planned, so I thought that I should get the outdrive serviced –only had 2 weeks though before we were heading out. I KNOW that I was asking for it BUT this guy really took me to the cleaners. I needed new brakes as well as mine were shot. He ended up telling me it would be around $ 400 for the brakes (Drums) then he said he had DISK brake package that would be a little more but not much (he is always vague about COST). I decided to go with the DISKS (Bad MOVE!). He then finds that my axle was ‘PITTED!’… I never could see the axle as he shipped it out and had NEW one built ($ 400 alone for that!).
simliar notes when he worked on my outdrive. he found that my gears were ‘PITTED’ and wanted me to buy new ones. This time I said I wanted to SEE them and he said that he cant wait that long (it was 2 hrs he had to wait) — so I said put them back then.
$ 4000! was the final cost. I got new Disk brakes on trailer and did the outdrive maint work.
He never tells you what he charges per hour (in my book he charges $ 75 an hour) –I stopped by many times and called many times in those 2 weeks and he rarely was working on my boat.
He did all the work (I think?) and actually had my boat ready for my trip–
BUT the outdrive STILL leaks! he told me its because of the gears not being replaced and that he could NOT guarantee the work. what a LAME excuse as I know a little bit about these engines as I have done some work on them.
Everyone tells me to take it back to him BUT that is not happening!

i have had many boat and it sometimes expensive to maintain but Ermonds is the Best! The BEST PLACE to take your boat or auto to get fixed or maintained. I brought my 30 ft Lavey craft to get some engine work done. best thing I ever did. I have not had any problems at all this summer. Ran better than it ever did. thank you so much the family had a great summer. I will bring everything to him from now on.

This guy totally took advantage of me once my boat was at his place. He just kept adding on the costs like he was making it up as he went along. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

I purchased a Velocity power boat and was given a great price with help on customization and modifications. They were easy to work with and kept within the prices I was quoted when it came to repairs on my jet skis as well. Definitely would recommend to others!

we took our jet ski there and he fixed something without our authorization and asked us to pay $ 230 and ended up not getting a receipt from him, he is a scam and i wouldn’t suggest doing business with him period

Biggest scam artist he messed up my new jet ski after i got a crazy quote I passed and he purposely damage my jet ski and the new mechanic acknowledge me I have filed a complaint with BBB I do not do not do not recommend any one to do business with this guy. me so much to fix he is there to reap you off he has no idea what he is doing he will corner you to empty your pocket do not go there. I will post picture later on so every one can view all damage he has done.

This place sucks took my jetski to get serviced by this guy and he cut the wires and took parts out to try and make extra money. DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY.

This place just seemed a bit shady. My boat was serviced by them which means oil change, and impeller replacement which told a few days and cost almost $ 900. The boat was returned dirty as if the mechanic had no idea that putting his dirty hands and feet on white vinyl would not make a mark.
