Nice nails great atmosphere my 4^th time back very fancy place definitely my nail spot

My gel manicure seriously lasted less then 24 hours. Never coming back here again

I originally posted that I loved this place. Because of the low prices and nice service.
Unfortunately only 3 days after I got my acrylics done, I can see why it was so cheap.
The powder is beginning to lift off my nail around the nail beds on every one of my fingers.
Typically acrylic powder pops off like this when the real nail wasn’t properly buffed or filed, or when not enough (or low quality) primer was used.
I guess this won’t be my new regular spot.

I had the worst nail experience EVER! The nail lady took an hour and a half not only she wasn’t done but she applied the acrylic super thick and bumpy. She had to ask the owner for help/​opinion, she took over and started to file. At that point I told her I didn’t like the shape and it wasn’t what I wanted. I had showed her a picture. Well she took them off and I thought she would re-​do them. But she said she had no time. Waste of 2 hours, to literally walk out with my nails worse. She was so offended when I told her I wish I would of known the lady didn’t know what she was doing, and she replied with «she does know what she’s doing !» Um no she didn’t!
I went to get my nails done professionally not be someone’s Guinea pig. I went to another place showed her the picture and she did exactly that, no questions asked.

I found out about G Spot Nails on Instagram by doing a search #lanails. It was then when I found Claudia’s page… Which led me to G Spot’s Instagram page.
So I checked out pictures of numerous designs by their different techs and all were really very good work and designs. But the two artists that caught my eye were Rocio and Claudia. So then I wrote an email to make an appointment stating that I’d like to have my nails done by either Rocio or Claudia.
The next day I got an email and phone call to confirm that I’d be able to book an appointment. I called back and spoke with Rocio and confirmed that I’d be there for an appointment for the following day at 5:00 p.m.
The day of my appointment I was running late. By 20 minutes. I called to inform Rocio that I was going to be late and I asked if that was alright. The lady I spoke with told me that it would be ok… I drove from Riverside to NoHo. (If you are from SoCal, you know this is not a short drive, especially w/​traffic)
So now for the part that was my least favorite… When I got there I told them about my 5:00 p.m. appointment with Rocio and then another lady, (I don’t know her name) said to me Rocio was not there, I had to go with someone else. I was puzzled at first, but I didn’t mind so I sat down to wait.
While I waited, I kinda got a vibe that wasn’t exactly welcoming… I felt like I was an inconvenience more than a new customer. I even said to my cousin who came along with me, I didn’t think they wanted to wait on me, but I’m patient and I didn’t drive all that way for nothing so I waited for about 10 minutes then I was called to sit at a station.
So I asked the cool girl with the purple hair what her name was and she said «Claudia» so right then and there I was relieved and I complimented her on her work because she does DOPE nails. She asked me about how I found out about her and the shop, and I told her the story. We had cool conversation and cracked some jokes about what was on the TV and me getting used to my nails… I was nervous about the length because it’s been so long since I’ve had my nails done, but Claudia helped me embrace them and made me feel comfortable. Claudia gets down on nails. She took her time and paid attention to detail. By the time she was done I felt like a princess. I LOVE MY NAILS! I can’t stop looking at them and playing with them and finding reasons to point at stuff.
All in all my experience at G Spot Nails was cool. With exception of when I first got there, everything else was pleasant. Clean and elegant environment. Nice and quiet, plus the air wasn’t overpowered with chemical fumes. I’ll be back again for Claudia… She’s an amazing artist and chill person and true professional.

I’m not sure of the girls names but they put very little effort into my pedicure and full set. Also, the girl cut me when trimming my cuticles.

I made an appointment for 6:05 PM after work for a mani/​pedi. First time visit. Despite the locations, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean, quiet and tastefully decorated this place is. Although they are supposed to close at 7pm, my manicurist took her time and did both my hands and feet with meticulous care. I truly appreciate it!

These ladies are great! I love a place that takes their time and does QUALITY work. I walked in and was greeted right away with a smile and friendly hello. Even though all the technicians were busy, they stopped to acknowledge us. I would like to say I will be back soon, but I don’t live in the area. But if you do you should check these ladies out, MAKE AN APPT, you won’t regret it :)

Ok so theres a huge sign that says «walk ins welcome» i been trying to check this place out for a few months. 1^st time i called to see if there’s any availability. it was 5:30 pm and they close at 6 pm, «She said no we are about to close» so i went to my regular place where i know they wont say no to a walk in appt.2 weeks ago i decided to walk in at the same time (i work from 8 – 5:30 every day) So i asked if someone could do my nails and all 3 ladies that were working that day said «oh im sorry we wont have time to do your nails today» again there’s a sign thats says «walk ins welcome» very upset i went back to my regular salon. I know they won’t turn me down. And i will never be back to this place.

I love how claudia did my nails she recomended gel and i went for it this place is really clean and well organized their super frendly this is my spot to do my nails for now on cheap prices. I recomend them hands down!

Maria, Marisol, and the rest of the ladies at G Spot are GREAT! They take their time and will help you maintain your nails on a budget by not upselling you on services you don’t need. This is BY FAR the best value — quality per dollar — of any NoHo nail salon, and I’ve tried three others around town. G spot is MY spot now (ok, that last part sounded dirty, but you all know what mean!) It’s the jam!

Alright G Spot nails. with a name like this, you GOTTA get it right! Went in about 10 days ago for a mani and pedi. I upgraded to the special sugar scrubs and they smelled great and made my skin feel amazing… the massage however was lacking. Although their pedicure area is cute, it’s far from comfortable and the whole atmosphere of the place is kind of old fashioned in my opinion. The cherry on top of everything though was that my nails have become brittle and the paint began to chip 2 days after my service. I will be in no rush to go back. Sorry G spot, you just don’t measure up to the competition.

I am updating my review for this salon, I gave a four out of five stars in the beginning because I wanted to see if the customer service and quality was consistent. I can honestly say that these ladies are all very hardworking, sweet, and talented.
If you are wanting to walk in and out in 30 minutes or less, then you can go to one of the many other nail salons and they will rush you in the door and out very quickly. And you will probably be back quickly cause your nails wont last. (this happened to me before)
I have had gel manicure here four times and my nails last more than two weeks with minimal chipping. (I work with my hands all day) I get compliments often on how cute my nails look!
But as the saying goes, good things come to those who wait, or plan ahead. So I would recommend anyone to call ahead and make an appointment (they open early) and even still, make arrangements to be there more than an hour or two. This requires patience and time, sometimes people are in short supply of both. But I have never been to a nail salon that cares about their customers the way these ladies do, you can tell they love what they do!
BTW, I rocked my dress at the gala last Saturday, thank you Shantell and Rocio for making my nails look just as fierce!!!

It smells like marijuana inside the nail shop. I sat down in the spa seat to get a pedicure and a roach also came out of the handle of the faucet to join me. I will say the lady who did my pedicure was very nice job.
But I would NEVER go there again!

After a wonderful service experience, I was very disappointed to find that my nail polished chipped in chunks the very next day. This has never happened to me before so i called in and they allowed me to come in on Sunday to get them repolished.
I went in on Sunday and got them redone but the table was dirty with nail dust from a previous service and the dust got all over my newly polished nails. That is pretty foul and to top it all off, on Monday my nails chipped in chunks yet again. Im saddened that their products completely changed my opinion about this location as I really enjoyed my original experience.

Absolutely love this spot. EVERYONE there is amazing. They are professional, quick, and creative.
Their customer service is great & the place is neat & beautifully decorated. I think it’s safe to say, I found my new nail place.!!

I called Saturday for an appointment but they were full, it is prom season after-​all. So I made an appointment for Sunday morning at 10am when they opened. The store is in a small strip mall next to 7 – 11 and a pot collective. However when you walk into G-​Spot, it is clean, bright and nice and you don’t notice the busy parking lot of people coming and going.
I got a basic pedicure with Rosieo (sorry if I mis-​spelled it). She was sweet and took her time. Overall the pedicure was 30 minutes. My only note would be I wish I would have gotten a bit more of a leg rub as that is why I wanted to treat myself. But overall I like the pedicure and she did a good job. Since there were no other customers 1^st thing I asked if I could add a basic manicure and Maria did that. She also did a great job and I enjoyed chatting with her. I would definitely come back and Sunday’s are nice and quiet. Thanks ladies!

I love love loooooooooooooooooove this place !!! Everyone is really good and very nice! I love that they take their time to perfect your nails. If you are impatient and always in a rush, this place is not for you!!! Just make sure to call and make an appointment .
On top of the fact that they are good they’re prices are amazing! 23 dollars for a gel manicure?! Uhh yeah, make me an appointment !! Lol! Any way I got my nails done yesterday for my bday and they came out phenomenal! I chipped one yesterday at work when I banged it against something and when I came back today there was no attitude when I asked if it could be fixed! Oh I forgot to mention they’re not Asian. Not that I have anything against Asians but I hate when they get slick and mumble things I don’t understand to each other, or when I just don’t understand what they’re saying to me period. Lol
My overall experience was great, definitely coming back. Safe to say I found my new nail shop. I’m excited to see what new design we are going to do in 2 weeks!!!

I would recommend to make an appointment because they do get busy.
So worth it!

Good things — Great people, fantastic service. My cuticles look amazing.
Bad things — my gel manicure started pulling off my nails in 2 days, which means I get to get them done again. I’m disappointed.
