This is the best cake place I have ever been to! I only gave Adam three days notice about this cake that I really needed done. At first I was apprehensive because I’ve never tried this place before. But I did everything over the phone in just a matter of minutes – and it was so easy, simple and they completely replicated my imagination of a tattooed butt cake into a reality. Best gift I’ve ever given. I’m so thankful. Delicious, creative, and professional:). Thank you guys so much!

House of pastry has surprised me with their work. I’ve had 3 cakes done by them. The young man (owner) that works up front, is such a sweet guy, very respectful. I explain to him my event an what kind of design I want, he’s drawing turns out the way I exactly wanted.

I found these guys through a google search and could not have been more pleased with their customer service, quality of product and of course the compliments I received on the cake. I selected a «picture on cake» design, but the accents they created were absolutely perfect. I without a doubt will be back next year.

They make excellent flavorful cakes! I bought a chocolate cake (triple chocolate) it was moist and sweet but not too sweet; it was just perfect.
They are not that pricey & they are freshly made everyday.
The employees are very nice & helpful.
Definitely coming back to this little bakery!

This is my first time ordering a birthday cake from this bakery. It will not be my last, that’s for sure. I placed the order on Tuesday for Thursday morning pick up. The gentleman was courteous. The price could not be beat for the quality of cake. It was ready on time. I also tried their cake pops which were deliciously rich. The pastry case was remarkable. I’ll be referring friends and family here.

Very nice cake at a reasonable cost, they were able to make the buttercream cake look like a fondant cake saving us half the cost. Extremely reasonable price for a great tasting cake. Also they made the cake at the appointed time. I really recommend them for any occasion and will not hesitate to go to them again. Thank you!!!

I was introduced to house of pastry a little over 2 years ago and it has been my go to ever since. I’ve ordered cakes and desserts here for every occasion (bday, baby shower, anniversary you name it) I have never been anything less than amazed with everything from the creativity to service to the quality ingredients, it is second to none. You have a customer for life 5 stars!

I was searching for a good bakery last minute to make my wedding cake. While my fiancé and I were driving around we found this place on Unilocal.After reading several reviews, I didn’t expect the warmest customer service, so I knew what I was walking into. We went in with no appointment for a consultation. I didn’t know I needed one. At first the lady behind the counter was a little unapproachable however her husband was really sweet. They asked us to come back the next day when business was a little slower. We went back the next day and showed them photos of what we wanted after speaking to the man and his wife they came up with an idea for the cake and it fit my budget. I couldn’t wait to see how the final result would come out. They delivered the cake on time. It was perfect! I can’t thank them enough for the amazing job they did. Not only was the job great but everyone wanted seconds there was no more cake left over. That’s how good it was. I highly recommend the mocha. Guests were asking me where I got my cake from they absolutely loved everything about it.

The cake was amazing, I couldn’t stop eating it which is why I gain some birthday wait. I wasn’t thrilled with the execution on the design but my friends loved it and the cake taste so good I decided no to be too mad about it. Very friendly service as well so I do recommend

The pastries were soooo nasty and tasted old. Just go to portos where evvrything is much cheaper and freshly made evryday. The lady that attended me seemed f ucken bothered to attend me. Im a latino idk if thats why she acted like that. But i wanted to taste the pastries since they seem good. They SEEMED GOOD BUT TASTED SO CHEAP AND NASTY NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN…

We ordered a cake, rather last minute, and they were very accommodating!
Adam did a great job on the cake. Everyone at the party enjoyed it and wanted more.
Needless to say, we switched a whole lot of people over to this bakery for their own celebrations!

We called during the week while out of state to find out what we needed to do in order to get a cake last minute, as we hadn’t been in town for weeks.
We were advised to just walk in… And so we did, the day after we arrived in town.
We were buying pastries in order to sample their variety, but while requesting the 3^rd one we were advised to make an appointment. Hint: Never a good idea to begin a sentence with a «You should».
In order to provide customers with the appropriate service I RECOMMEND (Key word: recommend. Very useful when making a suggestion) a sign that reads by appointment only, update the website and make sure the entire staff is aware that taste testing can only be accommodated on Wednesdays. Failing to inform the customer can be misconstrued.
We were already at the store, struggling with our own schedule conflicts, thinking about accommodating the shop was far from being on my mind. A response of by appointment only would suffice, and I could just move on saving myself the trouble.
Needless to say we ordered elsewhere. Helena Cakes in Sherman Oaks, where they provided a sample tray. No appointment necessary on Saturdays.

How festive is this cake? I was referred to this bakery from a friend and was impressed by not only their workmanship but their service! Adam was extremely accommodating. I don’t have any experience when it comes to designing my own cake so that resulted in me asking him a million questions and he was super knowledgeable. I didn’t even know what kind of cake I wanted initially but he gave me a variety of suggestions. Anyway I got cake pops as well and those were amazing as well. Everyone LOVED my cake. Definitely recommend them. You won’t be disappointed!

Don’t have anything to say but only one of the Best bakery’s I know!!! I highly recommend them because the taste for their cakes and pastry are so delicious!

This place was recommended by a family member who stopped in so we decided to check it out. For a small little bakery, they do pack a punch! If you like middle eastern and Armenian treats, this is your spot. The service was outstanding and when we got home, we realized why people do love them on Unilocal.
I forgot the name but we bought the pastries that look like tacos but have a white cream in them and a clear sweet syrup that comes with it. It is heavenly! They make them fresh and you can taste it. Definitely going back there!
