I’ve rented MANY cars from this location and everyone there is amazing. Damien Swan, Carla, Sean, Mark D, really everyone there and company wide. They have taken care the company i have worked for too many times to count. They are all extremely professional, they have the best and cleanest cars, amazing employees, and great prices, what more could you want?!

The cars are really clean. I was referred via MINI.

Was a easy and smooth situation. Great customer service from Alan Macias. Nice car, brand new, full load and clean. I recommend!

Once again Midway has been a pleasure to rent from, as new employees such as Kimberly, are very helpful. Thnx Kim :)

In brief, I had a rental car from the «big green» enterprise company, and while the car itself was not mechanically bad, the interior was in an awful state.
Stains on all the seats, the car smelled like damp, and was thoroughly musty at the back. I suspect it was mold.
I called midway and spoke to Ryan, who was more than helpful and got me into a much better car and at a matching price.
The experience could not be more night and day. Where I was an annoyance to enterprise (I asked them if they would mind cleaning the car, etc…) Midway was more than accommodating in every way.
Midway was clean, and busy and yet I waited only the briefest of time for my car to be prepped, and even when my wife changed the car she wanted at the last minute, the team at midway swapped it out and cleaned it thoroughly on the spot.
All in all I’m happy with my experience and I will be using midway from this point forward.

I selected this car rental business because it specifically let me return my car later than other rental places did. when i picked up the car, i saw a notice that said the office would close at 2 pm that day. i made sure to ask if it was still ok to return by 7 pm. i was told it was no problem at all and just to drop the keys in the box. after doing so and receiving a second receipt via email, i see that i was charged for an additional day. when i called to confront them about this, i was told that they never said that and that it was a misunderstanding and nothing they could do about it. it seems that if their employees do not know the procedure or guidelines, that they should not be answering those kinds of questions. will definitely not be back here.
tldr: 1– told me incorrect information about drop off when i asked when picking up car
2 — was overcharged
3– i was blamed when i called to ask about it

I got my car service at BMW just down the road and got a rental from here. Michelle helped me and she was very courteous and nice. The car I got smelled like cigarette and she made sure to mark it down, and few dents we found during walk through. Process was quick and out the door in about 15 minutes or so. She was able to upgrade my rental too. Friendly staff and good service!

I was taken to Midway by my MINI dealer up the street when they couldn’t get the service on my car done in time for me to get to a meeting down in Marina Del Ray. Michelle and her coworkers were great. They got me in a car faster than I’ve ever experienced with any rental before. I made it to the meeting, a bit late, but that was because of traffic and everyone else was about the same lateness and it all worked out. :)

Went there this morning to get a rental car. It took me about 5 mins to get paper and 5 mins to walk through the car. Michale Burlack was helping me. He is quick and polite.

Yesterday I went to get a rental after leaving my Mini Cooper at the mechanic and I must admit they were very professional and straight forward to fill my needs. I rented a 2014 brown Honda Civic. It was very well maintained and drove nice. I considered keeping it but it’s not possible. Anyways the people that helped me out explained to me all the procedures about renting and I was out of there in no time. I did have to pay $ 5 because I’m under 25 years old. Which is cool because I know most car rentals have that requirement. They also offered a $ 11 insurance in case some minor damage was done like a scratch or if someone passing by keyed the car. It was a nice suggestion, which I accepted.
And today I returned the car and in 5 minutes I was out of there.
Ps. They washed the car before I took it. I didn’t ask for that but they did it anyways after noticing some bird poop. Thanks!

This was my second time using these great people, they are amazing! Michelle went out of her way to make me feel welcome and meet all my rental car needs. She was incredible and really helped me make my rental happen very smoothly. Great customer service all around! Jordan over the phone was super helpful too! He made sure that as a repeat customer I got a great deal. I’ll be coming back again! Thanks everyone at Midway on Lankershim for your help as always!

Michelle ROCKED IT! It’s never fun to have to rent a car when unexpected mechanical trouble flares up on your own. Michelle made it a dream. She was professional — even while I was on a cell phone conference call in the process — and she delivered EVERY benefit possible. I truly appreciated her above and beyond service. I’d go to Midway whenever I need a rental. Jordan was a great lift back to the car dealer too! Really amazing. The vibe here is on the up thanks to Michelle and Jordan!

We had Mustafa help us and he was awesome, got us a good deal on upgrading to a nicer car. the Car was perfect and only $ 400 for the week for a basically brand new 4WD Ford explorer. Great service would return!

Midway is great. We have rented from them several times — everyone is always very friendly and we are in and out within minutes. Its never great being without a car and I hate it when my BMW is in the shop, but these guys make it easy for me to get back on the road when that happens. The location is also great — close to dealerships and easy to get to.
I found this place after a few bad experiences with local Enterprise offices (surprise overcharges months later which were reversed only after talking to the district manager, giving me cars with check engine lights on and telling me «its no big deal, its drivable and its all we have»…ugh). Don’t get me started on Hertz. I have had no such issues with Midway, so I keep coming back.
I find it odd that people have an issue providing license, insurance, credit card etc for car rental. This is standard at all car rentals in my experience. They are trusting you to rent a very large, expensive and potentially dangerous item, so proving that you are a licensed, insured driver and that you are who you say you are seems only fair to me. As much as we all love the honor system, it doesn’t apply here for good reason.

The only reason I attempted to come here was because the rental was going to be free via the Mini Dealership (loaner as car got serviced). However, I was unable to rent because who knew you needed your birth certificate, passport, blood type, rectal exam and a paternity test? Ok, a little exaggeration, but you can’t rent with just a credit card/​drivers license here. I will do my best to deter Mini from using this company.

Mustafa helped me… I was in and out in 15 mins. My mini was in for service so I got a courtesy rent. I didn’t like driving a corolla last time so I asked to upgrade to a Prius. Only cost $ 25 out of pocket.
Car was brought in early that morning by the previous customer so Mustafa gave it a wash and vacuum. One man show! I don’t know where the other staff were but Mustafa was busting his ass. Someone deserves a raise.
Midway id give 4 stars from previous experience but 5 stars to having a staff member like Mustafa.

These guys blow. They are making me and some other dude jump through hoops to rent a vehicle. They can at least be clear on what is required to rent a car. Most places need a credit card and drivers license. These jerks clearly don’t want my business.

I had a very horrible experience with the guy who helped me named Anibal. As soon as I walked in he glared at me, then without any acknowledgment, he went back to his computer. Of course he was the one I was stuck with 15 minutes later when they got around to helping me (it wasn’t even busy!) As we talked about options he kept changing the price, then he said he needed to take a $ 500 deposit! (Also, $ 260/​day for a VOLVO?!)

These guys have it together and are quite effective in providing you with rent-​a-​car services. Not located on the grounds of the Burbank Bob Hope Airport, they are kitty corner the front entrance. Save yourself some time and just walk to them. If you have too much luggage, simply walk to that pickup island and you’ll get a ride straight there. I reading all the one star reviews.. not my experience at all!!! Avoiding the Avis and Enterprise places that had manned booths at the rentals, I rented by calling them up on the «house phone» at where can rent cars the Burbank Airport. If they cancelled on someone, its likely I got their car.
You get a super clean car, with a full tank. No frills and no unhappiness renting.
I ended up returning the car after hours… no problem, just park in their parking lot and drop the key off. presto … done and easy.
–best note is that I saved at least 25% off the other guys.

This place needs customer service 101. I wasn’t even acknowledged when I walked into the place and they act like they are soo busy when they’re just staring at their computers. C’mon, you can at least say a polite, «I’ll be with you in a minute, after I finish my pretend work.»
I only went here because the dealership was working on my car and gave me a free loaner. Makes me think twice about even accepting an offer for a free car for next time.
